Not for everyone but my husband loves these beers and we have stocked up with these. There is no picture but it's a very pretty box. Has Hobgoblin, Fiddlers elbow, etc in.

Ordered online and got them the last 2 weeks. They don't seem to be advertising them much so I think a lot of people would miss them

Funny you should say that.

I used to buy Wychwood quite a bit and thought it was right up there with the best. Then I guess my tastes changed and also three new sprogs in quick succession meant economies in grocery spending and less real ales. The other day though, for the first time in years, I bought some Hobgoblin (on Lidl's 5 for 4 deal) and whilst OK I didn't think it had the "finesse" it once did.

If anyone likes their real ale they should keeps an eye on Booths supermarkets as they almost always have a good selection of 99p beers. They had Moorhouses's Black Cat on recently which is my husband's favourite!

The brewery was taken over afaik a while ago. None of their beers seem to taste like they used to

They're now part of the Refresh UK group (which has itself recently been taken over by Marston's). Sadly its the usual story of when a brand gets popular they start using cheaper ingredients, reduce the strength or make it blander 'to appeal to a wider audience' (e.g. cask Hobgoblin has recently gone from 5.2% down to 4.5% and is a shadow of its former self).

Wychwood beers are 99p each in Netto all the time... so this aint that cheap :whistling:

nice pic

voted hot - definately cheap especially if you don't have a netto's within 100 miles

I thought looking at that pic that maybe Id already had a few
