It is worth a try, £6 or £10 are both much cheaper than new parts for your car.
Redex is another option. There have been several posts on here lately so have a look, and it is cheaper.
Redex recommend a double dose if you haven't used it before to give the whole system a good clean out, including injectors.

Just purchased Redex 250mll fuel cleaner from Teco 4£..as Halfords send me confirmation of ordering after 6pm:))
I wil try it tomorrow
Don't expect instant miracles, for me the engine and drive got smoother over time.
i used to chug a bit trying to keep to 30mph. Now things are certainly better.
hope it works for you

I heard is the best..
£4.69 delivered from carparts4less with code bank15
I find Forte is more effective IMHO.
These things should be used every tank???Or just now and then..6 months between..??

No, Use occasionally, perhaps once every six months. The best cure for diesel cars are long runs on the motorway.

They can help clean, However diesel already has additives that do the same job, Premium fuel tends to contain better additives and will potentially burn cleaner. Hence you may get a few more mpg using premium fuel.
I've not tried the Wynn's one before, but their treatment for drying up water in the fuel is brilliant. Could be worth a try.
I have tried Redex before and found the difference was marginal at best.
Forte was pretty good and is worth the money.

The one I did find made a big difference was Millers diesel power ecomax - it's £12-14, but you get enough for 10 tankfuls, which makes it only £1.40 a treatment.
Use Redex today 250..but I only used half of it..sayz on the bottle for 2 tanks..should I used one 250 mll bottle for 1 tank for better cleaning..I already fill my tank with diesel extra fuel..138.9p at ESSO...
