X-Rocker Adrenaline Gaming Chair - PS4 & Xbox One. I know theres various early black friday deals knocking about but I've been looking at various gaming chairs over the last few weeks great saving at £51. Only problem now is hiding it until Christmas.

Also if you got that voucher thing with your company u can buy the £100 voucher to use and get 7.5% off
so £92.50 + £8.99 = £101.49
and if quidco tracks and use £2.50 quidco bonus even cheaper

Good price. Heat added

Oredered thank you

That was one of those didn't even think about it and went straight to purchase things. Well I went via Quidco anyway for 5% cashback and £2.50 bonus cashback.

My dad's a tall guy like 6foot8 would he be able to sit in this comfortably? He plays on his Xbox most days an I want to get him a gaming chair with built in stuff any recommendations??

The big issue would be the weight limits; most of these chairs, even heavy duty office chairs, have weight limits that make it difficult for us big guys. I recently broke the metal frame around the height adjuster mounting on a £600 operators chair by leaning out sideways to pick something up.

Nothing on the Argos site, nor the makers pdf gives weight limits, so assume it is only good for 100KG; not that I trust any description given by Argos after the recent spate of mis selling products.

These things seem utter ****. Stick a load of messy cables in the side for the sub feature, then someone spins on the chair, ripping your PC/console off the desk with it

I’ve got one and there’s a simple solution of not plugging it in :P

Is this suitable to double up as chair to use at a desk too? Don't know if it looks too reclined

What features does this version have that others don't to make it "ps4 adrenalin?"

Not good in chair spinning houses. I come from spin free house thankfully.I have wireless transmitter from old chair so no need to link to my ps4 controller, wouldn't want to link to console for any reason as there ain't anywhere to plug into anyways. TV output maybe if u want TV sound though it. Bluetooth is awesome for some tunes while u play. Same price range as comfortable computer chair with extra features.

I would not trust that thing with my audio lol.

dual one is £120 http://www.argos.co.uk/product/7399422

I saw it but obviously it's a matter of what you want. I personaly don't like the dual ones. Sure my teenage son will like the single one. 🖒

Would there be a way to use the speakers in this as the rear pair in a 4.1 system?
I was wondering if I could use my current 2.1 set i use with my PC as the from speakers.

I don't get these, there needs to be a way to easily attach a steering wheel and pedals if this was for serious gamers.

It's a chair, why does it mention specific gaming platforms?

Also, anything with "gaming" in its name is almost guaranteed to be worse than non-gaming alternatives (see headphones).

Also this is cheap for a desk chair, never mind one with in-built speakers. Heck if it was just speakers and not a chair I'd say it was cheap! I'd pass on this, unbranded tat.

Unbranded tat? X-rocker is a worldwide company. I'm personally not into gaming but thanks for your great feedback, insight and knowledge.

I'd say probably not, I'm 6'4" and the X-Rocker's are a poor fit. I got rid of mine, albeit an older model. I think some people my height will find them to be ok, but unless you get positive feedback from someone 6'6"+ I think you should pass.
Unfortunately, IMO at that height you'll likely have to throw serious money at a gamer/desk chair for it to be comfortable and last.

It mentions the two most popular platforms to catch the eye of shoppers seeking compatible gifts for their gamer spouses/kids. The X-Rocker brand is well established, though I'm no fan of the chairs themselves, but the speakers are actually pretty impressive.

Why do people with kids still play Xbox

Why wouldnt they?

Forget these chairs and try the ikea poang range of armchairs for gaming. They are superbly comfy and ideal for those who game properly ( not perched up with nose touching a silly 27 inch monitor) I have the poang ands so comfy especially with a lovely footstool.ikea see to have discontinued a lovely leather version from last year and replaced with a not so opulent version.
Basically, traditional gaming chairs are just vibrating office chairs. The perfect answer is to sit in your poang crank up the subwoofer on the home theatre and your vibrating experience is complete. Some may prefer to game whilst perched on their washing machine as many have wall to wall tv in every room. Try the sumptuous poang and as you slaughter nazis, man city or Egyptian. lose yourself, your inhibitions, your keyboard and mouse, and get a life.

You’re never too old to game! Although it seems that pops was into a bit more than gaming when he was 14!

I Xbox with my kids. With the party chat it means they never need to leave their pit to speak to me.

You're confusing this knock-off brand with DX Racer. Looks like you fell for their marketing ploy.

Afraid not but thanks for your concern

Bought one yesterday, thanks ☺

Not a gaming chair but staples recently got bought over and have big discounts on their chairs: staples.co.uk/exe…lse
That one is a racing style, but i went into the shop the other day and tried a few deciding on a nice leather one for £54, check out proper chairs rather than gaming ones IMO.
EDIT: Online was much cheaper than instore, but go try a few in the shop and then purchase online.

think ill stick my dxracer chair thanks

had one of these and eventually the chair snaps off the base - but maybe thats cause im fat

It should be mentioned that there is a £3.95 charge for home delivery.

Got one of these a while back for my son. Have had a few cheeky goes myself. Its a decent bit of kit for this price, fine for its purpose, but don't expect luxury! Cable management and a fairly hard seat are main issues I see, but easily fixed by care and cushions. Too low and reclined for an office chair. Son loves it.

I'm 5"11 would it be alright for me? I don't wanna look up to my TV I need to be at level hight. (Superstition)
