sorry this is a miss post - you get the gold member ship for £25 sorry misread will adjust all titles - shame as would have been a a bargain - still not that bad a deal but not as good as my original thoughts - still another option to some!

Sorry, but £177 delivered from Microsoft, plus Quidco, seems a better deal.

I have an 80Gb 360 but I have to say I wish I'd bought the Arcade version, you can only use the hard disc for paid content it seems that you purchase through Xbox live etc. or by storing games you have on it which isn't essential (you can still play them on the Arcade version is what I mean so although this is a good thing it isn't necessary).

What I'm basically saying is if you have your own music collection or movie collection and thought it would be good if you could store them on all the free space- you can't. So I have 70+Gb I dount I will ever use.

For this reason, I'm out. Not voting on this deal either way, just felt like a rant!

You can rip cd's to the xbox hdd. Also it will play music AND films from an external drive. If you buy films from the marketplace they too will be stored on your hdd.

Fair enough, but I think most users do at least a few of: install their games to the HDD, play online games, download demos and trials from the Marketplace, play XBox Live arcade, Sky Sports, download films, record their own music collections and so on...

HMV Gatwick have 250gb console + Splinter Cell + Tiger Woods 11 for £197. Not a deal as such, since not accessible to all, but thought it was worth a shout in case anyone is travelling on a late holiday or business.

Damn, I was ready to order one of these for Mass Effect 2, the 360's highest rated exclusive. Nevermind!

Guess that's what happens when Microsoft has no studios.

Not seeing much of a deal here to be honest. You are getting 15% off at the Microsoft Store just now on the console plus 4.5% quidco so you get the console for around £162.
