Does anyone know if you can add a hard drive to this at a later date. Looking to get one for my son for xmas and seems a good price if it can upgraded at a later date.

Yeah, the 4GB can be upgraded with an official Slim style HDD.

It's even possible to take an old style 360 HDD and put it into the Slim by removing the casing of the old style 360 HDD.

Thanks for the last comment! My hubby's broke with the dreaded crashing ( or what ever it is called ) last year but kept his hard drive. Great to know he can add this to the new one.

Great price . Thanks for the postX)

nice thanks

Great price, you could easily sell Fifa for £30 and be left with a 360 for just over a ton. Nice.

Is the warranty invalidated if you put in your own HDD?

No. I put this Western Digital 250GB 2.5" HD using this guide and it works fine. I've been on XBL lots of times and have had no problems whatsoever. Some say that your HD or Xbox can get banned, but I've yet to hear of anyone who has actually had theirs banned.

That guide is pretty good. Massive amount of hastle though, unless you're using an xbox 360 official hard drive.

heres some guy who put an old style 20gb hdd into the newer xbox slim youtube.com/wat…sns in case anyone was wondering how its done

Just came on here to submit this, but see it's already listed.

Its a good deal, I got a similar one from Amazon last week and it was a few quid more.

The guide is so good and easy to follow, I didn't find it a hassle at all. I posted pictures in the thread below.
