Wow just what I wanted but doubt they will have it locally

I'd go for the larger disk version as this will not play the likes of GTA 5 on it as my son found out.

Hence the request from Santa for the 320gb drive priced at £70 @ Amazon!

Has this not already been posted quite recently ?

My son wants an xbox for xmas, he'll be playing minecraft, disney infinity, tomb raider but not GTA. would the 4gb be enough? If not does anywhere have the best deal on a 250gb??

I don't have a clue to be honest about gaming but i just know Santa will not be popular if this doesn't arrive, lol. Thanks

To be honest I don't know about those games. But with all the saved game data etc 4gb is not a lot and soon gets used up. Go for the 250gb if at all possible is what I'd advise.

you can also buy a 250gb harddrive

You can use an external usb memory stick if space runs out. I'd say the 4gb would be fine happyone, much better for the price when you can buy a 32gb usb stick for (comparitvely) peanuts which you can save data on.

All other memory types are locked to a maximum of 16gb by the Xbox - 2 x 16gb sticks would be the way to go. Unless this has changed recently?

Gta5 is 18 rated for a reason - just saying as I was in town today and number if parents buying this in tesco (£30) was worrying- gaming isn't just for kids and hasn't been for 20 years now

same bundle 124.99 on line at sainsbury so not that great a discount

4Gb will not last very long. With game saves and updates and a lot of games being downloadable it will get filled very quickly. If you can I would stretch to one with a bigger HD but as someone mentioned you can use flash drives but from what I remember the 360 will only use 20Gb of the flash drive so anything bigger than that would be wasted. 250Gb would be ideal for a medium use gamer.

£15 seems like a good enough discount.

Hot for the price but as others say 4gb is used very quickly. I recently got the 4gb version as the cheapest replacement for my old 250gb and am wishing I went for a bigger hard drive already.

£35 for a 250gb xbox hd on ebay. I am so happy I got my one with kinect for £79! hahaha still this is a good price....

Just buy a cheap old version Xbox 360 hard drive from ebay or game (You can get them for like £10 for a 20/60GB) then remove the shell off the hard drive and then you can slot it the slim version. Sounds complex but theres lots of guides on Youtube on how to do this. Alternatively just search eBay for 'Xbox 360 Slim 60GB HDD' and there is some rather cheapish ones for like £18-£20.

mindcraft is strangely addictive...prepare to never see your child again when they get on this game...

Does it use the full 32gb? I was under the impression that the xbox wants to format the drive when you first insert it and will automatically make a partition and only use 16GB. Some one earlier mentioned 20GB, its been a while since I had to use a flash drive so would be good to hear what the new limit is if its changed.

Not instore at Northampton (superstore)

Tried to vote hot but bloody fat fingers hit cold by mistake. Sorry, cracking find op!

Not instore at Beckton
BUT found one in Newbury Park (Ilford)
