Saw this today at work, and its an epic deal

Fifa 11 and Forza 3 for free when you buy a 4gb Xbox 360

All brand new.

Currently £159.99 online - £149.99 INSTORE - If I get comments saying 'It says £159.99 on the website...' I will go mental

Plus, get £3.75 back on your reward card (potentially more, as there are triple points on Fifa this weekend)

As an added bonus, get an extra 500 points (Worth £1.25) on your reward card for every PS3, 360, Wii and DS game you trade in! (Plus the trade in values obviously)

This was the Harrogate store, but the deal is nationwide

Title says fifa 11 but post says fifa 10? Good price if its 11 tho !

its 159.99 online?

gibber

I am not a PS3 fanboy, but this 4GB 360 is pointless.

cex pay £30 for fifa 11 and £7 for forza so brings console down to just £113 if you dont want the games

I personally prefer the 4gb than the 250gb. the 4gb is not the shiny like the 250gb model. Also I have taken the 60gb hdd from my old XBOX and put it in the 4gb version. Well happy with the XBOX.

So sorry I have to disagree with you. Most people already have an XBOX with a hdd, why get rid of your old hdd with everything when you can easily put it into the new XBOX 360 S.

Great deal. Heat added

I agree. And with the new firmware update you can use a USB stick as a memory card, which makes the 4GB is a great unit.

Good deal OP - dont forget the 1600 Reward card points and Quidco!

so can you take the old style HDD (120GB for example) out of its case and slot it into the new slim 4gb model ?

I was thinking of doing this, Did you have to format the drive? Or did it work with all your saves and downloads plug and play?

Yes it worked straight away, everything was there, profiles, saved games, games, demos, videos, etc. Only thing I think is the games that you have installed on the hdd you may need to do it again, as I think they are linked to the console, but not a big deal doing this.

To do it is relatively easy as long as your have the correct screwdrivers

Torx T6 screwdriver

Torx T10 screwdriver

The outside ones is the T6 which is the hardest to find and not one of the common ones, the internal one is pretty standard.
I was not bother about breaking the external case of the hdd so managed to open it without the T6 but for the internal one I did have the T10 so very easy.

Using a USB stick is an option, I tried with one 8gb one and managed to install a game with no problems, but I have found that most of the cheap USB sticks do not meet the performance expectations that the XBOX need, so you need a decent branded or fast one, so for that money you might as well crack open your old Xbox 360 hdd. Even at CEX you can get a 20gb pretty cheap. An internal SATA drive will always be a lot faster than any USB pen drive anyway.

This sounds like a great deal, can anyone tell me why you need such a large hard drive on this machine? Trying to work out if I could just get the 4gb and perhaps a memory stick to save games onto? Would appreciate some guidance. Thanks

must be instore only, deffo saw a 4GB XBOX 360 for £109 yesterday

Game online price now £149.99 as well.

Very hot deal, in many ways as good as the Zavvi Ebay Deal that I got on Wednesday (£179 for the 250Gb with FIFA 11 and an HDMI Lead).

The hard drive is mainly for games downloaded from xbox live. If these dont interest you then this machine would be fine the 4gb is plenty for game saves i believe

Good price for getting Fifa 11 too - I picked my Xbox 4g up for £159.99 with Fable 2, Massive Effect 2 and Prince of Persia Forgotten Sands for £159.99 at Gamestation about 3 weeks ago, so I am chuffed with that.
Best bit for me was that there were 6 games and you got to choose any 3 of them - I am not into motor sports so Forza would be a bit of a waste of time but this is still a cracking deal.

Thank you very much for the advice "cheepaschippies". Great deal I think. Thanks for the posting. I love this website but find I spend ages looking at it!

Will point out that contrary to the suggestion in an early post, old xbox360 hard drives cannot be simply removed and 'popped into' the new xboxs. I have bought this package but will shortly be returning it. It seems crazy to me that they package Forza with this which comes with a bonus material disk which you really need to play it enjoyably (otherwise you will see #missing content# messages EVERYWHERE), however installing bonus content requires 2gb drive space and for me it refuses to install it, probably because it leaves too little space. Cold I'm afraid - getting the 250gb instead...just need to find a good deal now!

You can just buy a 250gb hardrive (load on ebay) and put it in the 4gb slim

and a video here on how to do it

You can even use your old harddrives in the 4gb slim video on how to here
