Hate to sound silly but whats the differance between the three consoles?

Google.

different bundles.

Roughly

Arcade - no hard drive, comes with a memory unit, white tray
Pro - 20gb Hard drive, silver tray
Elite - Black, 120gb Hard drive

I'm sure there's more to it than that, but that's pretty much it. I'm holding out for a mega good deal for the pro

not as good as shopto deal.

Don't bother with this model, you will want/need a HD at some point. Then a Wireless adaptor for another £50, then £40 to play games online. Either go the whole hog and get the elite version or get a PS3 instead as that has it all as well as a Blu Ray drive in one box!

An Arcade or Premium is fine. Infact I'd always recommend either of those 2 units, over an Elite.

Arcade has a 256mb memory card, that's 32 times the size of a PS2 memory card. Some people don't need hard drives! There is always the option of adding a Hard Drive at a later date too, so it's not like you are shooting yourself in the foot if you don't need it at this minute or can't afford it right now

People voting cold, i'd like to hear the reason why. And don't give me the shopto.net excuse because they don't have any in stock and their delivery service is poor looking at some feedbacks. If you can find it anywhere else in stock and free delivery for under £149.99 and eligible for price match with PC World, Dixons and Currys i will agree that it is a cold deal.

cant see why this is cold, bargain for a great machine which you can add to when you need to, not everyone has a chubby for hd and you can still play the same games as the other models
