I know there are lots of these bundles on here, I searched and I could not find this exact one so if its on here please forgive me.
I looked at this the other day and you did not get Tomb Raider with it, but its on there now so I bought one for my son for Christmas.
Not as good as the deal for the 60GB console with 4 games but if you are not looking to play xbox live or download games, and just want a games console then I think this is quite a good deal.
This deal is also available for reserve and collect at your local Game store

Xbox 360 Arcade Pack & Kung Fu Panda, LEGO Indy, Tomb Raider Underworld + Extra Wireless Controller

Arcade version, you should be looking at the 60gb version for £160-£170

Any ideas where I can get one of those puppies from?
That would be good, but the jury is still out on paying the extra, possibly with no games (?), for a 9 year old who has no chance of getting me off the internet to use my modem, or to plug the 360 into the living room telly lol!
Is it possible that his uncle could come up with his HD from his 360 and fit that to the arcade version as and when it's required for xbox live use?
Or am I just talking nonsense, sorry I don't know that much about consoles!!

Yeah you can shove a HDD onto an arcade at any time...there removable so say you had a 20gb you could upgrade to a 60gb or 120gb no probs...they just pop off

Good news, thanks.

tbh if its not gonna get a huge amount of use might be worth getting a 20gb HDD...they'll be getting cheaper as more upgrade memory for the new xbox update

It won't be getting used for xbox live an awful lot, probably only a couple of times a year to be honest, it will just be in his room so he can stand 2 feet away from the telly!
Don't know if that makes any difference, but your advice is greatly appreciated, thank you.

XBL is quite addictive on some games but depends what hes allowed to play (age depending)...for example COD4...game itself is great but short...taking it online is a completely new game in itself and pays for itself

Just to point out something though XBL does cost unlike PS3 Network so if your only gonna use it a couple of times just go for 24/48 hr codes rather than a full subscription (they come with 1 month free though).

Usually routers have more than 1 port though so you should be able to play over XBL AND use your computer at the same time...I have mine runin, whilst having my PC on and my parents having theres on and its no probs

Thats good to know about the router thing, and as for COD, no way will he be playing games like that lol!
I got him PES 2009 as well so hopefully that will do him...hopefully!
Thank you for the advice, rep added, hopefully I did it right!
