Next cheapest I have found is £12.99.

Comprises of a rechargeable battery pack and charging lead so no need to run out of battery power when playing.

Handy price if you need one.

I am assuming that this is a white one like the photo shows

good deal mate, was actually £8.73 on thursday, strange the way theyput their prices up and down like a yoyo

If I bought this, would I be able to use my controller on a PC?

No, it will charge via your PC but nothing more exciting than that. To use a wireless controller on a PC you will need the wireless receiver dongle.

Not a bad price, would be nice to see some deals on just the batteries though. My battery has already failed and searching Google suggests MANY others have problems with them failing. At least I was able to remove the batteries from the pack and use them so all was not lost :-D

As above it's a shame you can't just plug it in :-( makes no sense, a wired controller works and a wireless one works with the dongle but not a wireless one connected via cable..

The wireless controller only charges via USB - it can not transmit data that way.

It does make sense when you think about it.
The cable is purely a charging cable, it doesn't send any data because it doesn't need to. The controller connects to the Xbox independently of the cable via wireless as it would normally.

Hope this is ok to post here, but ]http//ww…-a/
