That 20% code is so good, means you can get a Wii for 160, amoungst others, bloomin Great!!

not the dreaded little woods, pray to god they dont steal your money saying the code was invalid or something. Voted hot as this is deals and not the actual supplier(unless ofc its fake which it isnt).

Good deal.

if it works, utter bargain

premium with hmdi and 20gb for 150 delivered?

I think people must be mad to be using Littlewoods codes after the recent problems!

Not so fast, they normally get their money back a few months after purchase. Always avoid Littlewoods and their voucher codes unless they personally send them you.

Yeah, exactly...give it another few months when they've done an audit, and they'll be asking for their money back!

Lolllllll not Littlewoods again!

farhan123;1714661

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7061767.stm I Wouldnt risk it

I guess we are those 'internet bargain hunters'. It is ******** to be honest. Hotukdeals members should actively boycott Littlewoods, if they don't want their vouchers to be used by unauthorised customers, then they should build it into the voucher code, not punish people months afterwards. :x

Voted Cold, good deal but awful retailer!

Ditto.

cold, due to they might ask for the money you saved back in 2 months later lol

I can't belive this has got above zero degrees!

Nice find Glenn, but Littlewood's can kiss my ars*

I agree. You might aswel just buy the Xbox 360 Pro in shops on Friday for £199 because your bound to get charged that from Littlewoods. Good luck to the people that have used this offer.

I'll keep a note of everyones warnings for the next time a consider ordering from them.

voted cold, littlewoods,enough said

i agree littlewoods should build it into their system if they don't want other people using their codes. i mean other retailers do it, so why don't littlewoods.

Deal might be hot but the supplier ain't. Voting Cold.

Having read the bbc article i would have to agree with the comments about littlewoods. Wouldnt want to order from somewhere i didnt have confidence in

The other thing to watch out for is the fact that they often don't have seals on their products and often have been returned more than once to them - I had a elite sent in a simple cardboard box - arrived with one corner totally bashed (this happened prior to packaging) and the box was open.
Given the value of the item I'd have expected more care with it than that.

please tell me you returned it!

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Quidco and Littlewoods Direct? I can't get any .at websites to show up at all

they tried to do it to me with the xbox controller 2 months down the line they withdrew the the £20 code i used so i refused to pay and said they could take me to court a few weeks later i got a letter and the discount stood no law in the land will let them move the goal posts months down the line and i would have took it all the way. im now torn as i have a elite on order with shopto and dont know what to do this is a big saving.

I set up a new customer account last lear when i bought a core system and they excepted the code.

If littlewoods can win in a case like this then there is nothing to stop companies posting fictitious discounts on the internet to gain a huge amount of custom with zero marketing spend.

You could probably send the unit back for a refund since it's been mis-sold really, I'd go for it if I wasn't so lazy/cowardly

Indeed I did - no way I was accepting that

anything littlewood gets cold from me, avoid!

I've used 1 20% code and it was fine! and the item was more than this. they honured it. no problem and ir been 3 months now. i have also used codes on their sister sites all with no problems! including that £15 off at marshell ward. got a free 360 charging kit.

Just cos a few people had problems ages ago! doesn't mean it's everyne or will even happen again!

Game have dropped their prices also...

X-Box 360 Arcade + Halo3 = £159.99
X-Box 360 Arcade + Assassins Creed = £159.99

X-Box 360 Premium + Halo3 = £199.99
X-Box 360 Premium + Assassins Creed = £199.99

game.co.uk/low…dle

Granted Littlewoods should of had tighter controls when entering codes and should of honoured the discount especially after a couple of months but at the end of the day t&c's say it should only be used by those it was intended for so it was used a peoples own risk.
Also regardless who the retailer is for the deal, its a deal for that price so why says its cold just because its from a certain retailer.

its very cheap twice now ive had the elite ready to pay an then stopped i alrady have a premium without hdmi its around 9 months old and has been no trouble im tempted to just wait as no dout theres going to be a 360 rejig soon thats why the prices are dropping

I think you have your prices mixed up a little there, think they're supposed to be the other way round.

Already quoted in post 6. Besides after reading that if your eligible for the discount then theres no need to worry.

I Have just got off the phone with Littlewoods and they
state:
"if the code was not issued to you directly/personally
then it is not applicable and not to be used, and will not be honoured."

I wanted the Elite for £210 but they said i would be charged the £52 discount later !!!!!!!

Be Warned guys, good find but not such a bargain in the long run. :x

They are idiots, anyone with any basical coding knowledge would be able to stop codes which are not applicable to certain people from being used at the time of the order - the way I see it, they are as much to blame as anyone and they shouldn't be acting like the victim here - other retailers have systems that work plus they are no where near as expensive as Littlewoods in the first place - Littlewoods prices with discounts bring their items down to reasonable prices (and still in some cases they are way over what they should be in the first instance)
