This may be store specific...and I only saw one on the rack, but this was available in the Tunbridge Wells Toys R Us (and its been available for quit e a while)...and may be available elsewhere. Don't flame this deal if you can't find one in your local store. It may be a case of first person to the Tunbridge Wells store gets the last one in the country!!!!

Anyway, its £10.99, but if you but it this weekend you can use the 20% off voucher to pay £8.79 for it.

Hope someone on HUKD gets it.

Can you accumulate live and skyplayer credits? ie. If I bought 4, would I get 12 months live and 4 months sky?

No doesnt work like that, the month sky you get is just a trial and you have to pay full price after which is £35 a month.

What's the expiry date on the packaging? Whenever I've seen these they state;

"1 month Sky Player subscription voucher must be redeemed on or before 30 September 2010. After your one month you will be charged for Sky Player Sport and Entertainment Pack. Your subscription will renew automatically at the end of the month unless you request otherwise. This offer only applies to new Sky Player TV customers. Existing customers would have to cancel their subscription and re-subscribe to redeem the voucher code.

I think they extended the voucher until 30 September 2011.

you need to do 4 seperate sky playedr accounts .. but rthe 4 x3 months gold you coudl use as one

Thanks.

Not quite what I was hoping for....

I'd urge caution on this, I bought one of these for a similar price over a year ago and the sky player card has an expiry date on it. The live can be stacked no problems and the remote works well. Sky player can't be stacked, but you can simply start a new account and use a new card if that's what you desire.so in summary a great deal, but check the sky player card is still in date.

Just to confirm you do not need to make another account for sky player, I've watched the whole premiership season this year thanks to these cards. Register your code, cancel straight away then enjoy for a month. Sky then email you a goodbye notice and start the process again. The cards expire sept 11 which still gives you a month or two of premiership if thats your bag.
Loved these, shame they aren't doing them anymore, I flogged the live and remotes so ended up paying about 4 squid a month for sky sports, not bad at half the price!

I would add though that this will be very very limited, believe me I've tried!

Tempted by this, but then I already have a spare MCE remote that is compatible with the xbox so I guess its a waste

Also got a V+ box in that room

Just used a sky code last night, supposed to expire 2010 but worked ok.

Why don't my local stores stock this

I partly agree with this, the quality can be somewhat shoddy on live tv at times but since the dashboard update a few months ago it never usually buffers, it simply goes to a very blurry quality before picking up again. When I've watched on demand movies etc the quality has been fine. Not the best but as I said before 4 quid for sky sports has got to be good

Sky Player works great for me on Xbox live, and I've only got a rubbish 1.5mb connection.

Took advantage of this a while back @ £15 I think. The Sky Player worked fine (not brilliant picture quality, but watchable) on my Xbox 360 and PC and had not problem cancelling it before having to pay the £35. Heat added.

Sorry for the bump, but how do I go about doing this?
Do Asda just accept these straight up?
