Popped into Barnsley store to pick up a few bits on way to buy the £159 deal at Currys and spotted this for a bargain £110.
Doesn't come with any games or kinect but perfect if like us you want to replace an X X box!
Staff said it is a national deal and they had several left in my branch (difficult to spot as they are displayed on the shelves in game boxes).
Seems to be national as found in Hamilton by Jelavic18 also.

Believe me, Xbox wont disappoint you.
Great deal - heat added
Really? Where at?
Try and learn how to read a thread title.
Try and learn not to feed the trolls.
I have an original Xbox 360 from 2007 and I've fixed both the failing CD magnet and the 3 light RROD, but after a few months of being OK the RROD is back and I don't think it will fix again.
But me and my lad have quite a few new Xbox games to play as yet and at £110 this seems cheap enough, but I'm a bit worried about reliability.
My PS3 which is about the same age has never had a single issue and is used just as much!!
Its been completely re-designed and is very different from the early models and the slims have a much better reliability record.....
I accidentally covered the fan on my Xbox slim with Xbox game boxes, played for over 3 hours and didn't overheat, they are farrrrrr better than even the Xbox elites
The RRoD is linked to hardware failure which is generally the result of constant temperature changes causing the solder to crack and or break. A way to prolong your console's life is to first and foremost make sure that the console is dust free internally, make sure that it is in a well ventilated environment, do what I did and replace the thermal paste and lastly allow the console to cool down before shutting it off after a long gaming session by letting it sit on the dashboard for a couple of minutes.
Sounds like your advice is too late.
To answer the question, yes the slim version is more reliable and a 250GB slim is very cheap at £110.
I still felt that it was relevant to any future consoles he may buy and or anyone who currently has a fat 360, like myself
I feel its not relevant to the slim 360
Fair enough, no piece of electronics is perfect so I like to give them the best chance they have :P

If you're going to troll at least put a bit of effort in, that was truly yawnsome.
Excellent advice. I always let my first gen 360 (the one without the HDMI port) cool down at the dashboard before switching it off. I've had it for about seven years now and it's still going strong even after all the 4 hour BF3 sessions :).
Cheers Forgot to also mention that installing games to the hard drive massively reduces the wear on the disk drive and drastically reduces the amount of heat produced inside of the console.
hdmi port has stopped working
Microsoft want 65 quid ti fix it.
with staff discount i can pick this up for 99 quid.
If you are after one of these, grab this quickly!
