i got the sainsburys deal and sold my old 120gb elite, I can deffo say that for simply playing games the xbox is fine and you've got just over 3gb (real space) for downloading any game content, i also got a 16gb usb stick from amazon (bytestar dataferry) and that plugs in the back no problem so now its a 20gb xbox and i'm online gaming all the time with pro evo, battlefield, medal of honor,

just so you know, forza 3 comes with 2 dics and you have to download the 2nd disc to the hard drive for the extra content, I'm pretty certain you won't be able to that with the xbox box as it is, you will need a usb stick like the 16gb one i mentioned above
so hope that helps

Yep this is right - fortunately the second disc does split the add-ons into different sections so you could choose to install a track pack, or a car pack, but won't have enough space for all of them. You can still play and enjoy it as is, but until you get a USB stick or put in a hard drive you won't have access to all the extra content.

Great game btw.

It doesnt match the Sainsburys deal, you get an option to have medal of honour (valued at £39.99) intead of forza (which you can get for under £9 online) still not a bad deal though.

Correct but the sainsburys deal seems to be running out of stock and isnt available online, so this is by far the next best deal if you cant find stock or need to buy online...

Can you use any USB memory stick with the Xbox 4GB version?

If so, you can pick up Sandisk Cruzer 16GB USB sticks for around £16. How much memory does a downloaded game take up (approximately)?

A downloaded demo varies but I would say 1gb and a full game 6-8gb

Medal Of Honour unlike Fifa 11 is getting crap reviews though.

You could sell MOH for £30, buy Forza for £9 and pocket £21.

Medal of honor is actually a very good game in my opinion.
Online play is fantastic.

Only certain drives work. I bought a ByteStor 16GB USB High Speed "Dataferry" Flash Drive that works like a dream (currently £16.99 on Amazon - might be available cheaper elsewhere).

Guys, is the Sainsburys deal still available?

Great deal, just add an external drive for additional storage.

Can you use these codes instore?

Do you get anything from quidco if you reserve online for instore collection via quidco?

I just went into the Morfa Park branch in Swansea and got this deal for £139.99. I used the quick pay kiosk inside, put in the catalogue number (927/1665) and it showed at £139.99 I was just about to add the codes for Fifa and Forza and it showed me 7 pages of offers, the last one being add Fifa 11 and Forza for free. Picked that offer and got all three for £139.99 plus the £20 worth of vouchers.
This might be store specific, I only ended up using the quick pay till as I forgot to reserve one online before I went out.
Many thanks to the original poster, the Sainsbury;s one just didn't exist round here and this beats waiting around for an Amazon delivery.

Worked out well.....do you not get the vouchers if you purchase instore.....

Also Sainsburys in Swansea does have that offer.....I was in there a couple of days ago

I have just bought this in the Talbot Green (South Wales) Argos, again it was £139.99 at the till even though my item reservation said £149.99. Two games absolutely free plus £20 in vouchers to use in november and december! Thanks to the OP, have now started my christmas shopping.....!!!!!!!!!!!

How much can you sell fifa and forza for?

I popped into GAME and they only offered £6 on Forza, not sure about Fifa as Im definately keeping that one

CEX will give you £30 for Fifa currently.

Can you just plug the flash drive in and its ready to use? Or do you have to do anything slightly technical to it?

Nice price, tempted. although sadly the Xbox was the standard £149.99 in my branch.

Sadly don't have a Cex near me, so can't get £30 for Fifa. Went in Gamestation a couple days ago, and they're only offering £15 cash for Fifa, or a £20 voucher :(. Unfortunately I forgot to ask if they'd offer a better price if the game was sealed and unused, but I suspect not. Forgot to ask in Argos too, but I don't think my branch takes 2nd hand games. Only selected stores, I think?

Also tried Blockbuster, £12. Wouldn't be so bad, but when I was in there, I spotted Halo Reach, £37.99, pre-owned! Seems they'll pay peanuts, then try to sell the game for the same price as new!! Anyway, I digress.

It's also tricky trying to figure out what to spend those £10 Argos vouchers on, as frankly, most stuff in Argos isn't that keenly priced (I know the XBox Live points offer is pretty good, but I doubt I'd bother with those). Any thoughts for good value items?

Dunno. Not sure whether to go for this, or wait for a Halo Reach bundle. Kinda trying to justify a purchase, between now and Sunday.

I got £35 on play trade for Fifa (just over £30 after fees) and £10 for forza. It currently stands me @ about £110 but I could get that down a bit by selling the controller as this was a second console and I already have 3. I think my vouchers will be going towards the kids xmas pressies so all in all I havnt getting a bad deal!!
