I’d be willing to be that everyone voting this cold doesn’t really understand what it is.
Voted hot.
So many ignorant comments on this, wow. This is a great price for a top end gaming controller where the normal RRP is £120+. Whilst plagued with QC issues, It seems there may have been some shadow upgrades as my current one is great. Make sure you get extended warranty on these as they're much better than the OEM controllers when they work! Guys, don't vote cold if it's a luxury item that you don't want and feel unnecessary, that's not how this place works. HEAT from me as someone may like this deal.

Unlucky. At another time of day or maybe when the soaps are on this would have been hot deal.
I resisted the elite controller for 2 years.
Finally got one and will not use a standard controller again.
Hair trigger lock, paddles and precise movement.
Worth every penny.

I’d bet big money that they actually do 😜
Loved my controller but if you have warm hands then the silicon expands off the grips and falls off. Had mine repaired twice and it's doing it again. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, despite being a brilliant controller.

No I understand this is a controller that's worth in reality 50 quid being palmed off for 100 quid. It's a controller with some extra buttons and not worth the money

Improved accuracy, better configurability, ability to switch configuration during a game. I have an Elite controller, I agree not everyone needs one but for me it is better for FPS and sim racing games. I’d happily buy another if I stepped on it and broke it.

Anyway £100, well if I wanted I could drop nearly £2.5k on a controller to fly my model aircraft kingslynnmodelshop.co.uk/Rad…tml

Haven't voted but £100 for a kiddy console controller, come on. PC gaming maybe a bit more expensive than consoles but this is just milking the wannabe gamers.

Do you have one ?
I’m confused, are you trying to show off about a controller? A model aircraft? Or the seriousness of your gaming?
Not worth £30 (I had the same thing happen with the rubber grips after less than 3 months of use), avoid and go with a high end third party pad/highly rated one if you have the money.

I understand exactly what it is and would love one, but I still think £100 for a controller is ridiculous
God I paid £130 a few years ago for this surprises it’s still at this price

I know exactly what it is as I own one, good controller although a little on the heavy side, but its still not worth £100.

Thanks for the totally irrelevant comparison!

Just giving company to your completely useless price check from 2 years ago.
I got an Xbox one s with games and gold from Tesco for £45 a few years back but I’m not going round every Xbox thread spouting about it.
Price check nothing to do with me pal, just making a point that your comparison was totally irrelevant. Tech comes down in price as it gets older, inflation increases bread prices, no relation at all in a comparison on deals! At least the person you made the disparaging remark to was on the same subject!

What's the xbox elite ?

They're talking about the bundle that came with the elite controller released in 2017 or Xbox 360 elite
I've been waiting so long for v2 elite controller, hurry the f up M$!

....and "wandering" thumbsticks and don't forget those special bumper buttons that break at random rendering the thing completely useless!!

I treat mine like a princess, yet one day, under normal use, the right hand bumper just popped out!! Its a real shame as it is a quality controller, but its a disgrace that MS are WELL aware of the weaknesses and still haven't addressed them!!! Add to this their crap Customer Service who offered to replace with another one with a 3mth warranty and you can see that even they don't have faith in them. Luckily GAME were great, it was only 3mth old and they offered a replacement (with full 12mth warranty) or refund, which I took and bought one of the Combat Tech ones at under half the price, which has been great.... and still works nearly a year on!! These pads are crap and thats coming from someone who used to post comments in defence of these things, as I said, they are great when they work, but the build quality is shocking, buyer beware!

A kiddy console controller? And what is a wannabe gamer?
People are forgetting that this an optional extra.
Had my Elite controller for a good couple of years and as other have stated, will never go back to a standard controller. The build quality is superb and the extra weight makes all the difference. I done even use the extra buttons apart from swapping out the analogue sticks from time to time. This is a good discount from standard price and as such is a deal. This should be voted hot so that people in the market for an elite controller can then make an informed decision.

Mines been perfect in the two plus years since I bought it. Probably nearer 3 years tbh.

The fact that you got a good one doesn't detract from the fact that so many others have had trouble. Even the standard Xbox one controllers have pretty poor build quality compared to the old 360 ones. The casing on all 3 of mine have poor join lines and creak when gripped hard. They feel like toys compared to the solidness of the 360 controllers. But the 360 ones had the wandering analogue stick issues, so weren't perfect.

Basically Microsoft know they can bang out any old crap because the fan boys will always lap it up. People seem to think buying a new controller every 12 months is acceptable, so they don't build them to last the life of the console.
Wow. Do I get a special badge for this many cold votes? 😁
I thought the process was voting on if it was the cheapest price for the item in question, NOT 'I don't like this item therefore - cold' ??
