I voted hot and it went 3 degrees colder even after my hot vote. They're out to get you with this one mate, sorry.
Don’t these new versions have an inherent hardware fault that Microsoft are still working with customers to understand and resolve?

No..
I have a gen one Elite pad. It developed a drifting fault on the left stick a few months back and I was toying with getting a replacement. The gen 2 wasn't out at the time and I saw the £160 price tag so just got it repaired. Great controllers but I wasnt impressed that I had to get it repaired.
Bought 2, voted hot

If I wouldn’t have bought an elite 1 in feb, I’d buy this. Great deal!!

As it’s going cold bcos this deal only works for new Very customer with credit account so this is not for everyone and I think it’s not worth to open new credit account for only the sake of saving £50 on controller which will be cheaper anytime in future.

Applying for and opening and closing credit accounts affect your credit rating, e.g. if you plan to apply for a loan, financing a big purchase (thousands), buy a car on finance, apply for a mortgage, etc, it will have a negative impact on all of this.

I bought an xbox a few years ago from Very using a Debit card. Only when we approached our bank about a FTB mortgage that we found out that Very had credit checked me 4 times in 4 weeks and the bank said it looked as if we kept getting rejected for loans as no actual credit or loan had been set up with them.

I'll never use them again for anything, saving a few pounds to mess up credit history wasn't worth it.

EDIT: to be clear, at NO point did i request or show an interest in any credit deal with this company, they even took the money the next day although it took around 10 days for it to get delivered.

I accidentally chose the 3 months payment method and used the code but I wanted to pay in full, anyway to fix that? Cheers.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately it seems I cannot do that with PayPal. Also I don't know how you're getting £103.98, I'm ending up paying £113.98

No problem. Do I go to "Make a payment" and pay the remaining balance? Also do I need to pay the £113.98 or £163.98? Thanks

Cheers done that, thanks for your help! This is my first purchase with Very so I had my doubts but all cleared up now. Are they usually quick when posting?

Call or email them and make sure you have done everything correct.
Done this sort of deal previously with no success, ended up closing account and never dealing with these fraudsters again.
Heat
Bought the first Elite controller...looks nothing like when I bought it now.Pretty much all the rubber grips have fallen off now and buttons sticking all over the place and started drifting now.

I personally don’t want to spend this kind of money on a product the manufacturer admits has widespread problems

are murders in the Uk widespread?

Microsoft will no doubt fix the issue and there will be a variation in manufacturing with them replacing all the people who have problems
xbox 360 red ring of death was wide spread too I guess...

I’ll stick to the £29.99 Bluetooth official pad I picked up from Argos last week until they resolve the problems thanks..
Thanks OP, my son wanted one of these to replace the series 1 version he's had at least a couple of years... before getting an Elite he used to wear out original controllers as quickly as 3 months!
Bought and paid no worries, £109.99 dropped off at my local post office!
I'm assuming people are voting this cold because of having to set up the credit, which takes all of about 2 minutes if you. Hot from me, can't find it cheaper anywhere else right now. I also used this with a different account to get £50 off a new switch a few months ago, great deal even know.
Not surprised this is cold, Very are a terrible vendor with a Trustpilot rating of 1.4

I wouldn't buy anything from them, and especially not an overpriced controller with build quality issues and a non-replaceable battery.

How about you just let us vote and comment, and skip trying to start a fight with everyone that posts a negative reaction?

Which bundle ?????
So my order just got dispatched (Woohoo!) I am sure I correctly paid the amount in full through the "Make A Payment" tab. Is there any way of telling that I 100% don't owe them anything? Thanks in advance.

That's weird, mine still states £113.98. I hope I haven't done anything wrong, although when I go to Make A Payment it states the following : Based on your last statement balance no minimum payment is currently due, however you can still make payments on your account to cover items not yet statemented.
Also, when I click on on the BNPL summary it states Your BNPL total £0.00
