What an insane amount of money for a controller
There is an insane amount of dumb commenting here it actually hurts to read.

1. Personally thinking this is a bad deal and voting cold is not how this site works. You only really vote cold if you find an item cheaper elsewhere and follow it up with a new post.

2. Just because YOU think the value of a pro controller is too high does not mean you vote cold. Whether it's Scuf, Elite, Razor or whatever these prices are roughly what you will pay for a "Pro controller".

3. If you seen it £20 cheaper last week but it's only £10 cheaper this week... The only way you should vote cold is by letting me borrow your time machine so I can travel back in time, take a large breath of the pasts air and buy the item for the reduced £20, then returning to the future.

Lastly... If an item IS the cheapest please vote hot. There is probably alot of people here that would infact pay that price, so give them a chance to see it... Instead of you voting incorrectly.

I personally can't afford a ferrari... But if its 20K cheapest, I'll vote hot

Xbox elite controllers have become the new iPhone on HUKD. If you’re not in the market for one don’t vote on it.

Unsure why it’s cold. Cheapest I’ve seen
Why wouldn't you buy the 1st gen. I am sure that was and is a good controller.

They are but the rubber grips come away from the body of the controller with relatively little use.

Heat for this well worth it for the savings!
These controllers are aimed at gamers who like and want the best and spends there pennies on things like this.
Build quality of these controllers is very questionable. Only a 3 month warranty as well for your £150
Has it got a AI in it that plays the game for you should at that price lol
Heat from me

I vote on plenty of stuff that I never buy here. My way of saying thanks or keeping this place honest and competitive.

That’s ok if you’re not voting cold on something because you disagree with it’s existence. As tend to happen on these and on iPhones.

Good job you have statatory consumer rights then as its a new purchase from a UK retailer.
I've had my 1st Gen for years never had a problem with it to be fair. I must admit it's a bit pricey just for a controller tho.

Yeah you should have a year from amazon. Still not great for this price, Xbox should be offering a 5-10 year warranty at this price
Very poor quality/price ratio. There are better products out there. COLD

The main issue is where the discount is marginal and the deal is more like an advert than an actual deal. It's a fine line and every person will have their own opinion on the matter.

No they shouldn't

They really should, it should be more durable than 1 year. Especially when so many seem to break soon after 12 months

These have only been out for 2 months so I'm not sure how you can justify that statement?

It’s a shame they didn’t decide to include a share button. It must be easy to do as you can programme a paddle to do it. That’s puts me off seeing as the series x controllers will have one.

yeah, completely true basically overpriced crap that you can get with another brand!

You might as well get a scuffed custom controller.

Far too many quality issues for an expensive controller with a minimal warranty and Microsoft’s poor as always customer service. Some of the high end Razer controllers for Xbox seem a better bet

They used to be great back in the 360 days for me. Lately though they expect you just to purchase another product and not complain

"Some"??
Razor do 2, both basically the same model, one slightly upgraded, both wired.

I have series 1, well used, rubber grips are long gone but still hands down the best controller I've ever had.

True, I don't agree with the controller. £160 is far too much, just as £1000 for an Apple phone is. However people will buy, whilst people buy they will sell. I'd rather have 3 normal controllers and the change, means 4 players co-op and beers.

I had a first gen since they first arrived. They are like the Alfa Romeo of controllers. I love it and think it's brilliant but I would never recommend one to anyone else

The build quality is poor, broke sticks and rubber grips falling off is extremely common, and it happened to me a few times.

The grips are the biggest nuisance. The easy fix now is to go and spend even more money and buy the Scuf grips which eliminate that issue.

The sticks can need a mod but they are OK if you are willing to do it. I fixed the issues on my own and it works a charm, I wouldn't use another controller it's so good. But don't buy one if you aren't prepared for these eventualities!

You get a full two year warranty with these. However there are problems with them. The older lot numbers seem to have button issues (sticky/non responsive on small taps). With a retailer like amazon returns are great. The older lot numbers through amazon have probably been sold by now, so you should be getting newer numbers. Other than that the controller is the best on the market and they have solved every problem from the first gen albeit adding a couple of new ones.

I was getting at the fact that you got the name of the next gen Xbox wrong; it's 'Xbox Series X'. Not your fault though, it's another strange naming choice from Microsoft. Which was my point.
