I would not get a used Xbox series X. If the internal SSD dies it near impossible to fix as Microsoft have tied each SSD to device. so if you try to replace it, would not work. SSD's eventually die after a few years. (edited)

Couldn't you just send it in to Microsoft? Also SSD's are less reliable then HDD's? My 2014 Xbox one is still going strong.

Agree, especially if you don't want to play the best games

Good deal! IMO, The Series X is a better console with a much higher value proposition than the PS5; PS5 however, has the exclusives you'd probably want so far this generation (God of War, Spiderman etc).

I'm more than happy with my Series X (after not touching Microsoft at all last generation) but there are PS5 exclusives I'm missing out on, so your milage may vary. I'm happy to wait for the PS5 Slim / Pro when they have some exclusives built up, but until then I'm happy with the Series X

A sensible comment for once, with the power Series X has, it’s a travesty at the moment that Microsoft hasn’t got there ducks in order with exclusive games.

Luckily there’s some decent cross platform games helping it.

Game pas ultimate is a joke, churning out the same awful games over 5 years ago but just “optimising” them!

Staying on track - this is a good price for Series X.

Black Friday should see some deals.

    Hopefully £380.00 for new one

Nah hasn't got any decent games still, certainly nothing that can't be played on a PS4

I keep looking for an excuse to upgrade from my old One S. But there is nothing I can do on this that I can't on mine (yeah yeah, better graphics, a bit faster loading etc). It desperately needs a few mega graphics new gen exclusives to make the upgrade worthwhile. Lack of console availability followed by lack of game creativity is killing this gen.

Will wait until the very end of this generation to see if they actually bring out some good games

Hmm...can I justify buying one of these solely for Starfield?

You’ll be able to play starfield on the cloud with GPU. Can use any PC/Laptop.

Taken a punt at an open box! Wouldn't pay RRP, but just got 3 years game pass and the Xbox one s is getting a bit old in the tooth.

I love my Series S and see no real reason to upgrade, I'm blown away at how the S is especially second hand for £150 what I paid over a year ago, it's a bloody bargain!
