Too many have got wise to these points and are absolutely rinsing the system. This was inevitable and I'm sure more cut backs will follow..

More people are probably doing reward points but unless you have multiple accounts which still takes time you can't really "rinse" the system. Microsoft offered the points as a reward, you complete the task you get the points. You are only doing the tasks Microsoft are setting out, you can't claim 10 x 50 points if you earn 10 Achievements in a day or anything like that.

If thats a daily quest that doesnt need the rewards app to turn in then thats a bonus for PC users. Game Pass is a good way to get extra rewards - I think the original idea of GP was to give access to AAA games day 1 but MS seem to have forgotten about that.

Cashed in most of my points last year for a Series X and only had to spend £50 for it, shared Gamepass with my brother (his account) so didn't get any gamepass points.
On 05/04/22, I bought 3 years of Gamepass and had just over 5000 points left in my account, now just under a year later, I've got just over 322000 points and so far this month I've gained 33,500 ponits (bonus 3100 for using new Edge).
So regardless of whether MS nerfed pojnts or whatever, it is still free(ish) money.

That's not far off 30k points per month considering you can only get around 18.5k for free I struggle to believe this statement

    New process sucks big time.
A lot of families share Game Pass across two users - with reward points being given to both upon completion of tasks.
This change means that only the GP Subscriber account can now attain the Quest points.
In other words, two subscriptions are now required if you want to keep earning points in a family.

£10.99 per month to earn back £1.50 of reward points.
    Not worth it at all.
