Was looking for Xbox live for my son and found this which I think is a good deal. 12 months plus an extra month for 29.99.

Check simply games, they're quite cheep aswell
In light of the demise of xbox live family pack I went for this instead. I would rather have told M$ where to shove it but Sky is useful on the xbox
Think simply games is same price but less monthage..
Same price at Sainsbury's for the 13 month, which some might prefer seeing as Amazon no longer take nectar points.
Very cold, got mine recent or 24.99 in the Easter weekend only. This deal is OK for the late comers that missed out as I got 4 for cheaper ;-)
Voted hot, you rarely get 13 months for as cheap at this. Where did you get them for 24.99 dealsonwheelz?

You're basing the coldness on the fact that you got it cheaper one weekend? Irrelevant, it's still a good deal.

its not, a few pound dearer!
Not bad but rapidly Losing Interest in xbox live Consider what I get on PS PLUS.
Great price. Have been looking for a good deal on Xbox Live. Mainly use it for Love Film and some gaming. Cheers
Decent price, but I've decided not to continue my live subscription as I'm fed up with MS's ad-ridden service.
Great deal but also £29.99 at Sainsbury's, I'm not continuing my Gold subscription after my year ends anymore.
Hmmmmm can anyone confirm if this code is via instant delivery or posted out? Thx

Many thanks
£26.99 at cdkeys.com plus extra 5% off with code for liking their Facebook(desktop) page.
I used them no problem.
Instant code delivery.
*just 12 months though
My Live runs out at the end of the month and I shall not be renewing as compared to what I get with PS + it now seems such a rip off. If they send me some ultra cheap offers via the dashboard I might go for another year but it needs to be cheap. Microsoft needs to think about offering far better value for money next generation.
Get an extra month free.
Only works on silver accounts.
Go to Apps, click on SKY, get gold, then no thanks, it should give 1 month free trial, sign up via paypal or credit card (debit cards work too) Auto renew will be on. When there is a few days left go to xbox chat support and ask them to turn off auto renew, say you want to sign up but £39.99 is too expensive, they may offer you a discount.
I'm happy to pay £30 a year so that I can have all of my friends laughing and joking in the same party while playing different games. The sound quality is no different to a mobile phone call on the xbox 360 party chat. I have a PS3 also, but I've only kept the Uncharted games. It hasn't been switched on in nearly a year.

Not too worried about PS+ as I get all my games off torrent, so they cost me 90p - the price of a blank Verbatim disc.

Just a note to people with modded xbox's (the type where you CAN go on live) - google 'burner max payload tool' and you don't need to buy a special flashed dvd burner - it flashes your existing burner to burn up to 8.76gb.

Unless you have some amazon vouchers to use (or wanted to buy this as a gift) why would you take this deal when instantly available codes are available online for 12mths+1 at £27.99?

Use your amazon vouchers for something else?
Because if buying as a gift this looks a lot better than a printed off code.
Has anyone ever had success ringing up CS and getting a discount on a family membership?
far cheaper on ebay
in 5 years I've never paid any more than £26, no waiting around for special offers just looking on ebay for the best price.
PS+ > Xbox Live
Truly peeves me off with some of the reasons people give for voting cold.

Coke: Voting cold because although it's a good deal, I prefer Pepsi <- WTF you doing looking at a Coke deal?

Xbox Live: Voting cold because although it's a good price and I can't find it cheaper elsewhere *currently*, I got it £5 cheaper this one day many moons ago

Cat bowl: Voting cold because it's not big enough for my Great Dane's mountain of food

End of the day there's no rules or guidelines but the absurd cold votes prevent me wanting to post deals. I do when I find them (community spirit and all that jazz) but always hesitant. Want free money? I could start a deal about a free £5 note when you buy a Happy Meal (not true) but it'll be voted cold because it's not a £10 note.

Anyway, /rant over. Voting hot because although it might have been £25 6 months / 1yr / 100yrs ago, it's not £25 anymore. But, £30 is a damn decent price (whether I agree with Microsofts subscription model or not) and I need it, so getting it. Have some heat.
Been cheaper at CD Keys for some time with 5% off;

cdkeys.com/xbo…360
Pretty average price. Not expensive, but not cheap. Not voted.
You can sometimes pick these up for around £25 on fs/ft.

£2 a month for a constant online multiplayer experience. I would rather pay this, than use a free service.

Agreed.

.....and don't dare post a deal that someone else has already put on here - they'll feed you to the wolves. It's very important to them that they found it first. In fact, their life depends on it (or so it seems)

After my 2nd post (and lots of abuse) I decided not to look for bargains to share with people anymore. Anyway, it seems that there are sad people on here 24/7 scouring sites, refreshing pages constantly, looking for deals. They just don't sleep. They HAVE to be the first to post.

Hot UK Deals is a poster child for our ungrateful nation. Don't dare post a deal that someone else has already posted, even if it helps another 50 people find a bargain that maybe they missed 2 weeks before. Lets just argue about paying for xbox live and how wonderful PS+ is.

I'm pretty sure that the people who find the deals to put on this site would be able to afford to buy them, if only they went to work and didn't spend all day and night looking for new ones.

Don't very often look on here precisely because you have to cut thru 2 much **** from people who do not have a life. AndyEssex sums it up a treat for me

Saw it yesterday afternoon at £29.99 but forgot to order one. Sadly the price has gone back up to £34.99 =[ Missed out.

Xbox Live in general is a complete rip off though. I can't believe I paid to play online (glad I only got a 3 month membership then sold my 360) its just Microsoft being greedy. I had a 360 and a PS3 and I just thought one day why am I paying to play online wtf am i paying for. PS+ wipes the floor with it, I got Mass Effect 3, InFamous 2, LBP2, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Sleeping Dogs, Guardian of Middle Earth, Gravity Rush and Uncharted Golden Abyss to play on 3 month PS+ subscription I paid £9 for. Plus discounted games and automatic patching/updating for games and cloud game storage.
