HMV do 2 for £30 on this also. But you have to buy something else obviously. This deal saves you 2 pound.

Bought 2 of these over 3 weeks ago from Zavvi, just turned up this morning.

Usual case of it being 'In Stock' but instantly becoming '2-3 Weeks' the minute you buy them, which is pretty much the same situation I always experienced with TheHut stores.

I could've gone to HMV and got them the day I ordered for the sake of 10p.

I agree, for the wait that I had to endure (ordered 2 of them on the 21st April, still haven't arrived so cancelled them) I would say it's worth spending a few pence more and getting them from HMV.

lol, some people just don't read the comments left by others do they.

Zavvi and The Hut are 2 of the worst companies I have had the mis-fortune to deal with.

My advice? Buy them elsewhere!

.
Does anyone know if I can use these, even if I don't have a Gold Live account?

I have a Silver account and want the GTA IV expansion.

DLC is not linked to the type of Xbox Live membership. You'll still be able to purchase everything on the Xbox Live Marketplace with a Silver account.

The one time I ordered something from Zavvi, I waited about three weeks and eventually cancelled the order. A good price on something you never receive isn't such a good deal.

Just to add balance to the anti-Zavvi comments on this thread, I ordered Bioshock for the PS3 last week at £8.95, and it arrived about 3 days later.

Perhaps I was lucky on this occasion.

I just bought 2 x 2100 points from HMV with their 2 for £30 deal. Bearing in mind I was able to pick them up and use them now, spending an extra 10p was well worth it.

yeah i ordered that alone in the dark LE on monday, and it was posted today. so my zavvi order posted in 48 hours - infact since they came back both my orders were sent within 48 hours, so i dont know why people are complaining.

Because obviously it hasn't been the case with everyone

Very nice... repped :w00t:

What's the cheapest you can get Microsoft Points in the past and also how much QuidCo do you get at Zavvi on this? What's it classified as?

Note: My QuidCo has just tracked at 29p.

Think this is the joint cheapest they've even been (whsmith online were doing em at this price a month ago)
If you exclude things like the littlewoods vouchers and the one off hmv deal where they were £10 each, but half the orders got cancelled

havent voted either way due to the unreliablity of the company and because it's barely cheaper than elsewhere

Ordered. I still have a balance of about 900 msp, so I'm not in a great rush. More hassle to get to HMV.

Forgot about Quidco though. :x

Thanx for that.

I've only had an XBox 360 since Xmas and didn't know what offers were good. Also wanted to stop myself from buying online stuff as I am not sure what will get bundled later or free.

I know the Halo 3 content I can wait and will become free eventually, but I am unsure about the rest. Mainly waiting for the Oblivion content to become free but not sure if they will do that. Got Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine because I got the GOTY edition, but not sure about the rest.

To be honest, you've got the best of the downloadable content right there in the GOTY edition. There's stuff like

Horse Armour
The Orrey
Vile Lair
Fighters Stronghold
Spell Tomes

which really isn't worth the points unless you're after more quests to fulfill. I would say that Mehrunes Razor is possibly the only other one I would get for two reasons:

1. The actual weapon (Mehrune's Razor) which has a chance of Daedric banishing - basically instant death. Be aware that if the enemy has reflect spell, you could very well find yourself as a heap on the floor!

2. Morag Tong (Light) armour - without a doubt, possibly the best light armour you can get in the entire game. It's enchanted so make sure you can either repair enchanted armour or you're happy to pay the various smithys to repair it at a fee. You take it from a Morag Tong assassin, who's locked up in a jail whilst on the quest.

The Oblivion wiki is the place to go if you need to know ANYTHING about the game:

There's absolutely no guarentee of this. Only the Heroic Map Pack was made free, and Cold Storage was always free.

They have not stated any plans to make Legendary or Mythic Map Packs free, although both are excellent map packs.

If you want to wait, all of the Halo 3 DLC will be bundled with the new Halo 3 ODST Expansion Disc that's coming out in Autumn this year complete with a new campaign, with an ODST

Thanx for that. I read posts that the points that they charge for the small enhancements - even if its only a £1, the content isn't equivalent to 1/30th of the game and hence its a rip off.

I'm in 2 minds about Oblivion at the moment. I like it, but I haven't quite seen enough to say that I really really like it.

Thanx for the link.

True, but I assume that from past experience, even if they do a separate disc so that it can reach a wider audience, they are pretty good in that the expansions are free if you can wait long enough.

p.s. Was pleasantly surprised when putting Halo 2 into my 360 to see that 2 new maps had been released after the Map Pack - will play them next time I get the lads round.

Do you also send to europe?
And if not, do you sent per email?

Thanks!

Ordered 4 of these on Thurs, arrived Monday so I was more than happy!
