Posted this a while back and was suggested I was lieing, however I notice they're back at £15.29 in pcworld tottenham court road.

Not my cup tea as I don't really do any downloading, but may be of some use to someone.

Will upload a pic later as I know how cynical some people are.

I don't think this is so much a case of not believeing, but more a case of nobody being able to get these clearance items, and therefore being voted cold.

Of course, the best solution would be to provide proof...

Why should the poster have to provide proof? IF you like/can get the deal then vote hot, IF you dont then either vote cold and say why or just move on........

This site is going to the dogs with all these idiotic "gotta provide proof" posts. I wonder just how many decent deals are actually going by the wayside BECAUSE people cant be bothered with the hassle of listing them on here due to the idiocy of the "proof-brigade" oO

Heat added OP and I DONT need to see proof......IF your post helps a few get this deal then fair play to ya bud

Amen

Agreed but at same time when someone posts a deal where they have mad a mistake and people decided to travel at cost to try and benefit from the deal posted, via public transport or have to buy fuel and the deal is not as described then it p's people off.

Nobody said the poster had to provide proof.

I offered an explanation as to why this deal may not have been 'believed' the first time it was posted. I also suggested that should the poster wish to post such deals, which seem too good to be true, the only way to avoid the cold voting / disbelief is to provide proof. Otherwise, the deal will always be voted cold, primarily because people have wasted their time on such things before. My suggestion was in no way aimed at requesting the poster to provide proof at all. If that were the case, I'd simply have asked for it. Try calming down and reading things through a few times before your foot enters the stirrup...

For what it's worth, I agree - the poster is in no way obliged to provide proof.

A quick phone call would solve that problem. Exactly why I just did, my local PC World don't have any of these at this price and practically laughed at me for suggesting it. I was told they have 2100 for £16.99. Shame, because it would have been a great extra present for my son's upcoming birthday.

If it were me, I'd have scooped the lot. Since most people pay £14-£15 for 2100, I'd sell them all on for £25 a pop.:D

well i was there around 3 ish and no sign, useless staff member couldnt be arsed to talk 2 me about it "none in stock NNNNEXT" also mentioned that the price will change once @ till "so why isit advertised at this price then?" mumble mumble NNNEXT! useless bunch of Runts

Aww, the poor iddums "armchair" bargain hunters had to spend a bit in order to save something

I once travelled 300 miles to get what I thought was a bargain, only to find out when I got back that the item I bought was NOT the item that was advertised. Luckily for me the item I bought was actually more sought after (which I only found out about a year later when I went to sell it on) (_;)

As annoying as it might be, sometimes you gotta spend a buck to make a buck!

So are these not available in the TCR store now?

They had LBP2 in there about 2 weeks after it came out, priced at £23 - obviously they didn't honour that.
