Xbox Live Gold £39.99 from Microsoft (£32.19 with Quidco cashback)

Found 13th Aug 2017
Quidco are currently offering £7.80 on Xbox Live 12 month subscriptions bought direct from Microsoft.

Since the days of sub £30 annual subscriptions appear to have gone, this represents a decent deal if, like me, you need to renew now and Black Friday is still a way off.

If anyone can post me a cheaper deal I'd appreciate it.

Don't really understand this, is there anywhere cheaper right now?

You cannot guarantee a cashback claim for a deal.
I always get mine from CD keys normally pay less than £30. Also check out wuaki tv as they sometimes offer 12 months live with a film for around £30. If you buy from CD keys don't forget Facebook discount and quidco.

CD Keys is more expensive than this currently, once you consider all factors.

I guess I should just stick to posting 'deals' of 10p off a pack of crisps. That sort of thing always seems to go hot.

Don't be discouraged. Cashback isn't always guaranteed and paying over £30 for Xbox love still hasn't sunk in for people.
Plus the wuaki deals crop up every now and then for around the 28mark
Not to mention cdkeys limit the discount code use now. I view the things like cashback, points etc worth having when its the same price :). Cheers op
Hot but also try turning auto renewal off gold subscription and in last months of gold they normally give u offers last week got £26 instead of £40 renewing off dashboard only thing to be aware is they put auto renewal back on

Been keeping an eye on this but absolutely nothing so far. No doubt it will crop up immediately after I've purchased a code!

I don't think there has been a Wuaki deal since it became Rakuten. It's all very well people clinging to past prices, if they'd be kind enough to lend me their DeLorean I'll go and get a year subscription for £18.

Still waiting for a link to a cheaper price. Serious request. If this deal is so cold can someone please let me know the secret of where to get it cheaper?

The main reason for the cold votes is likely to be the inclusion of cashback in the price, which can never be guaranteed. It's usual for deals to be posted at (and their value considered based on) the price before cashback as a result.
Your constant moaning probably isnt helping the cold votes.........just saying

Not moaning, genuinely want to know where these cheaper deals are as I need to renew my subscription.

Lots of calls for CDKeys and Wuaki, but neither of these are available/cheaper right now.

15 months for £42.79 base price, or £40.65 after the 5% FaceBook discount, which is the equivalent of £32.52 for 12 months. If you want to include cashback in the price, there's then 2% on offer from Quidco, taking the overall effective price to £31.87 for 12 months.

The key point, though, is that as mentioned a couple of times, the availability of cashback shouldn't be factored into the price at which items are posted here, given that it's never guaranteed to become payable.

Thanks. The 15 month code wasn't in stock when I last looked, but it does work out a few pence cheaper.

I do appreciate your point re: uncertainty of cashback, but having used Quidco/Microsoft a few times previously I have little concern that the cash back won't track and be paid.

I can never get fb codes from them. Are they first time users only?

I had heard they are monitoring/restricting the use of FB codes now, though I've never had a problem. Tend to just get in touch via Facebook chat and they give me a link.
