Think I'd rather pay less than double for 12 months. Still decent price if 6 is your thang
Was waiting for the allusive £26.50 deal to ping up on my dashboard but its not happening... this will do me for now
Thanks Jgchapman, very decent for 6m
Great price for me, I like money in my bank rather than in future game time, so 6mths is perfect at this price.
I just got the £1 for one month, this will stack nicely

The subscription is per account so it will work for that user whichever console they log in to.

Thanks so will have to buy this twice
If you set up 1 console as the main one in house all users can use that console and then put the other profile on other xbox or play station so you only need 1 xxx

Not if you use the game sharing trick. Set one as your home console and the other as your "away" console. All digital content (including Xbox live) will then be shared between the two

So our kid got origins for combo...if we set up his Xbox as his home and mine as his away then I get to play too?
Both of them are set as home how do I set up one as away? Confused
Ok this is my first post so please fingers crossed it makes sense.

In order to share content the person who will be buying the content (let's say A) Will need to log in on the other persons console (call it B) and go to settings and change the home Xbox to be set as console B...once that it's done person B should log in to console A and set it as home.

Once done any content brought by A Will allow itself to install on console B and be played freely by anyone using console B as well as being allowed to be used on console A when person A is signed in. If anyone other than person A uses console A they will not be able to use the content.

I hope that helps. Any questions please ask
voted cold expensive
got 5 months for £5
2 dashboard deals (1 month free / 1 month £1) and 3 months for £4 with the tcb deal circa black friday
I had to share this.....only taken numerous years but actually just got offered the £26.50 year membership on my xbox dashboard. Miracle!!!! Lol.

I have 4 kids and they have a 360 & One each. I found this out -
As an Xbox Live Gold subscriber, you can share the benefits of Xbox Live Gold with others while they're using your Xbox One console in your home. Friends and family can simply create their own account and gamertag on the console, which gives them the ability to enjoy Xbox Live online multiplayer gaming. However the Xbox Live Gold account can only be used simultaneously on 1 Xbox 360 & 1 Xbox One, If I use the same same account on 2 Xbox 360s or 2 Xbox Ones the first one gets logged out. So with 4 kids I can get away with 2 accounts to have them all on live at the same time (however they are restricted to what can commonly be played across the 360 if they want to all play the same game on their own console - some games allow split screen so they can log in and play 2 x 2 live split screen games)

That's close, but not quite how I have experienced it. Player A can download the content on console A, if it's set as home anyone can be granted access to Player A content on Console A - see my post above...

It depends how you want to use it - if you have a 360 & a One the same gold account can service 2 live players. Some games allow guests to join a gold player online, however 2 identical consoles cannot share 1 account simultaneously...
Confusing stuff - I have 4 kids - it gets more confusing. Especially if they all decide they want to play Minecraft at the same time. The good news about Minecraft is 1 account allows 3 guests to join as a split screen experience. System link games are fun as well. I played a lot of CoD IW and it allows a guest for split screen gaming over live Gold. My LG TV does the game play mode which means we wear a set of glasses and instead of a split screen we see the fullscreen.
It's too cold to go for walks in the park and other outdoor activities just yet, so I don't mind them having a game or two (there are only so many trips to the cinema you can take the kids to...)

I have 5 kids so completely on your wavelength. We have 2 Xbox one consoles and they both want to play fortnite or something together which is online. I guess would need two subscriptions then?
