Xbox Live Gold Membership 12 months £33.99 @ Simply Games

Found 6th Feb
Searching for 12 months Xbox Live Gold Membership this was the cheapest I could find currently.

Much cheaper than going direct through the Microsoft route.

Instant download in 20 seconds.

I've used Simply Games several times and always found them trustworthy and good value.

I'm looking for this, the cheapest I could find was 35. Thanks for posting OP. Not sure whether to hold out, not interested in current GWG offering, if I wait a month what are the chances of getting it cheaper than this? Heat added.

Keep an eye on dashboard offers. Some have been getting 12 months for 23.99 recently. My gold runs out next week and hoping for the dashboard discount.

If any of your friends have an Xbox one, just gameshare with them and you will be able to use their Xbox live gold on your account. You and your friend can pay half each and it'll work out alot cheaper. That's what me and my cousin do.

how does that work. my Bro has a xbox I could share with him.

£26 on my dashboard at the moment. My gold sub is going to run out in 2 weeks.

My gold is running out in 3 days and I've had no offer on my dashboard so don't hold your breath!

mine ran out over a month ago and all i got is a 1 month for £2 pound offer not impressed!

1 month for £2 is good

I don't understand why this always get so cold, Yeah you might get lucky with a Dashboard offer, but that is a lottery, you might get 40% off 12 months, or for 3 month for £8.99 or £1 or £2 for 1 months. This is the best price (well ebuyer is a 1p cheaper) I've seen recently.

I'm not sure if it's thanks to the current exchange rate or something else but getting 12 months for under £30 is no longer possible, unless ofcourse you get lucky in the Dashboard offer lottery.

If you are going to vote cold atleast post a actual better deal everyone has access to.

sorry what is dashboard and how do I get there?

xbox dashboard press the home button

£33.99 is currently a good deal for those who can not get the '£23.99 or £26' deal, which is a deal that not everybody can get, seems to be luck.

Not sure why this is voted cold, unless someone can show me a better deal as of 07/02/17?

Mine ran out on the 4th, so just been back in to check - no offer on the dashboard, so went into "Store" then "Membership" (written text, a couple of lines down, in between the large picture icons) and then on the next screen I changed the drop down from the 1 month offer to find 12 months @ £23.99. This seems to be the best offer around recently, so I snapped it up. Will keep an eye out now though as reading through various forums on the topic it seems I can stack up some more months (after the current 12) if a better offer comes along before renewal.

As it's been pointed out before that offer will not be made available to everyone, no one really knows how MS decide who to give what offer, I was only offered for 1 month and 3 months. This is still the best offer for those MS don't deem worthy enough for a 12 months offer.

I have tried to find out from Microsoft why only some of us get the deal and not others. Unfortunately they are being very vague with their answers, 'only qualifying accounts get the promotional deal'. How does a xbox account qualify for the deal? 'Accounts that qualify for the promotion', riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...............this carried on for a while, I got nowhere.

If anybody has anymore information on this would be greatly appreciated, as this offer seems to be for new and old users, but correct me if I'm wrong?

Ebuyer are selling Xbox 12 month gold for £33.96, this deal is a rip off in comparison..

Sorry, I was just pointing out that for me there was no offer on the dashboard. It was only when I went further did I find the offer.
The deal is good and the best I have seen otherwise (marginally beating the Curry's/PC World price), so I probably would have gone for it. I am happy to vote it up!

That's coming from China, and will be posted to you, so not exactly the best offer if you want it straight away.

That seller from China has now been removed for violating the rules.

I wouldn't expect a regular phone guy to know the complex/random nature of the dashboard lottery!

I have been offered one month free trial but asking for my credit card details, how can i skip that option?

Sons ran out, left it 5 days and dashboard showed offer £1 for 1 month deal. Prior to that all options full price.
