Where were they £23? Just curious as I've honestly never seen them below £30

You could get them on eBay for around £20-25 last year but as said they seem to have shot up cheapest now seems to be low £30's
is it a good deal?

Fairly. Not dropped much in the last year really unless you count the random dashboard deals which most don't get

Even eBay doesn't often drop below 30 much these days from reputable sellers.

Microsoft made it so cards could only be used in certain regions or something so before company would buy cards cheap from other countries and then resell
don't understand why ppl voting this cold. I've been looking at the prices for the past week and this is probably the cheapest you can get it at the moment.

Xbox live membership cards have always been & still are region free so stop with the ****.

Why cold??

Currently cheapest.

If you have membership left though hold out as you do still get deals at £25 every couple of months I've stacked a couple when they pop up.

Probably partly because a lot of people have been able to get it for £26.50 direct from Microsoft as here: hotukdeals.com/dea…620? not sure if it's still active but I'd say that is a much better bet if you can get it.

Other reason is just because it's a fairly meh price that it has come up for many times before and only offers a £6 saving over buying it on the console. I know any saving is a saving but a 'hot' deal should be something a bit special in my view (and obviously a fair number of others), which this just isn't i'm afraid....

Especially when no one is finding a cheaper one or they would certainly say on here. I would probably hAve voted cold had I not researched the prices in the last few days as I wouldn't have thought the price on this would be much more than last year but I was wrong

What a pleasure to meet you
Bought my Xbox back in Nov, been waiting for the 'cheaper deals' there haven't been any and not been offered any deal by Microsoft either. so going to have to bite the bullet and get this. heat added
I posted this as I had to renew today, last day of membership. I even called Microsoft to see if I could get a discount which has worked in the past, but no luck. I had seen the deal for £26.50 and have been checking my account regularly to see if I could get it but nothing. Just thought it might help someone else.

Seriously there is a link in this thread to a better deal that was active a week ago when I bought it.... and I bought a 25 quid deal early Dec in game.... the deals have been there and posted on here
only Microsoft have been selling it for cheaper than this the past few months. Its selective in who they offer it too also, usual expiring accounts.
My live has been expired for about a week now, was hoping for the past month or two to be offered one of the "exclusive" account deals that have been posted here. Unfortunately the only price I've been offered is full price.
This is the best physical (not dependent on a Microsoft lottery) price available to me, and I'm sure I'm not alone so for that reason I've voted hot (despite all the cold).
It's strange how if you posted a PSN plus offer at this price it would get plenty of heat, because Sony don't offer a discount to entice you to renew, and there is a chance MS might offer you one, the offers for Xbox Live get cold votes. Though I expect there are allot of 'But in my day you could get these for under £25' voters too.

Don't know what your on about i gave the deal heat
How is this cold?! one of the best prices going currently, Heat!
Sons just been offered this because his expired over a week ago for £2 a month so may be worth holding on till it's expired to get a good deal through Xbox live, obviously hard when you got young kids though, still a good deal though
