Was it not confirmed on a previous deal that this didn't work and that only one tablet will be delivered?

Until there have been confirmed receipts of two tablets with an xbox one as a result of this "glitch" I think it's a little irresponsible to post this deal, it was posted again and expired yesterday. Sorry, but people are going to be wasting a lot of time and effort ordering and returning these when and if they don't turn out the way this deal suggests.

reindeer333, I have expired the thread.

I contacted MicrosoftUK yesterday via Twitter who confirmed to me it will only ever be one tablet per console

Just tried again with this deal and I notice in the basket you can only have a maximum of one tablet in there per console, with no option to increase the quantity.

Is this good?

Obviously in the light of what you have learnt, you have to expire the thread, but why contact Microsoft? Maybe some people would have got two Hp streams. Sometimes it happens on hotdeals. A company makes a mistake and 'gives away' more than it wanted through some website glitch or fault, but (for some reason*) they allow it to go through for a time. So a few people may benefit.
*It generates a lot of interest in their website. Everyone wants to snap up a bargain.
Or it doesn't cost them much in reality.
Or it generates sales for something which by itself isn't selling very well.

Of course there are always eventually people who have to ask

I would normally say no.....it's not good and you are perfectly correct, why arouse the supplier to the issue?

But I posted this last week and there were reports of only one Stream 7 been dispatched, however I posted it again solely on the basis that Microsoft had changed the wording on their website and that the (what I thought was) additional Stream 7 was automatically been added to the basket.

See my other thread for reference.

All in all, I would have preferred to clarify the the situation than have a lot of people having to return hardware.

Ok, didn't realise you posted the original deal.

The other thing that may happen I suppose is that the supplier may not want the bad publicity and may then relent and send out the extra items to those who applied before they 'realised' their mistake!, though it's probably unlikely

Its always a possibility, to be honest with you it's extremely bad marketing by Microsoft, the add clearly states a 'free' HP Stream 7 with the Xbox HP Stream bundle, which would indicate to me an additional HP Stream 7 as the bundle obviously comes with one or it wouldn't be a bundle

The rrp of an xbox one is £329.99 though so to have a bundle for £329.99 with an hp stream should imply that the tablet is free!
