Any games come with the kinect, or is it just console, 1 pad and kinect sensor in the box?

Don't worry about it, most Kinect titles are crap anyway

This is unreal really I've had my Xbox one since launch cost £429 with the Kinect sensor, bargain for the masses

A fantastic deal here. I'll be dropping in to Sainsbury's later to see if there are any left.

One of the games that was frequently packaged with this console - Dance Central Spotlight - can be purchased as a download code from eBay for under £3.

is the kinect sensor used for anything else other than the specific games?

visual log in, can save a few seconds/tiny bit of effort depending on your security settings.

Its situational for most, but if you play local co-op/ have friends round, it will recognise who is holding the controller and switch profile accordingly for you (official controller only).

An obvious use is video calls in skype.

Not a great one, but it can be a backup mic if yours ever breaks.

Voice control, theres a few useful commands which will speed up your navigation of the UI. A surprising amount of games include voice commands, some of which can be very useful. Sports games are a prime example. You can preset various things and assign them to commands. Set up correctly you can make various substitutions and tactics changes in seconds, with but a few words. where the alternative is usually to pause the game and spend a minute or two sifting through menus to do the same thing. Media controls are good for some. Using a wireless controller for example, its easier to say xbox pause, than to wait for the controller to turn back on.

i know with cortana you can use a headset for voice controls but they are generally much slower as every command has to be sent to Microsoft servers to be processed first, whereas if you have kinect and turn corrana off, commands are processed locally by the kinect. In my experience kinect commands are almost instant for the most part, whereas if i turn cortana on theres a few seconds delay.

Overall it really just depends what you use your xbox for/what games you play. most of the benefits are quite small, the biggest one being voice control. if you consume alot of media other than games, or the games you tend to play make good use of voice commands then I'd say its probably worth getting.

Yes, the one s is only very slightly more powerful than the original, which is to allow it to cope with upscaling to 4k and the addition of HDR. For gaming purposes you can treat them as the same console.

Help please, has anyone seen any in London or Kent?? Thank you
