Now live.
Between September 22 – 24, all Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One can enjoy Battlefield 1for free with Xbox Live Gold’s Free Play Days. Once the event begins, download Battlefield 1 by clicking on the Gold Member area on the home dashboard or downloading directly from the Xbox Store.

The acclaimed Battlefield 1 is multiplayer warfare on an epic scale. In the global conflicts of the Great War, you’ll experience all sides of World War I: from cavalry and brutal melee weapons, to the first tanks ever invented. No battle is ever the same and behemoths like airships or armored trains can turn the tide of a match. In Battlefield 1, you’ll find:

  • A World at War: Take the battle from the scenic Italian Alps to the scorching Arabian deserts
  • Four Unique Main Classes: Play as Assault, Medic, Support, or Scout and help out your squad mates
  • The Chance to Play It Your Way: Find your favorite game mode such as the popular Conquest, the furious Rush, or epic Operations across multiple maps
  • Weapons: Wield standard issue rifles, experimental light machine guns, and long-range sniper rifles. Sidearms, grenades, and gadgets add even more variety
  • Vehicles: Jump into light tanks, landships, and motorcycles or take to the skies in biplanes, fighters, or bombers
  • Single Player: Take on the thrilling War Stories and experience the many different sides of WW1

With things like this you should be able to do a pre download just before it goes live?

When I had BF1 on the PS4 it took up 90GB. Im not saying it will be the same size for the ftp weekend. But not everyone has a decent internet provider.
Ther thing is whenever I try these free to play game by the time they have downloaded they have expired.
Also apparently they'll be doing 40% off premium pass with battlefest this month

Yes sorry, I meant to mention that. Also they're doing Battlefield: Reveloution with 40% off, too. Both start tomorrow so I would expect to see them in this week's Deals with Gold

You sure? Isn't EAA a "no brainier"....... I think that's the most popular reply
Yes - but will it be cheaper than the Revolution package at Argos

It's £44.99 at Argos, isn't it? It's currently £54.99 on the Xbox Store. Assuming the 40% is accurate, it should be £32.99
Cold. Battlefield 3 is now free with Games with Gold.
Great game. Recently bought the Revolution copy for PS4 and cannot see how COD could do this any better. Heat from me
Decent

If they do that I am in!

Just about gitting gud and fancy the new maps.
Not completely sure if it would apply but there is also a free trial of the two DLC packs going on from now to the end of the month so I'm guessing you would also be able to play those as well
The Premium Season Pass is 40% off at £23.99. Deffo pass the time with this until Battlefront 2.

They have new modes, new maps and having tried the latest COD in the recent beta, I brought the Revolution edition from Argos! (Don't forget you can use any Nectar points in lots of £2.50 with Argos to reduce the price)

EA access is pretty much a must get especially if you like sports games. Wish my ps4 had similar.

My opinion of course but I'm playing battlefield 1 , fifa17, Titanfall 2 etc for the cost of half a new game. The back catalogue of 360 games is great as well.
Dam. Im away from home. And will prob take a day to download??
