I like my game controllers like I like my women, well used, dedicated to one system and with some reassuring heft. Hot!

There are some shocking reliability stories about these. Good luck to you if you’re buying these used.
Shockingly these are not bluetooth type so they won't work with PC and similar without the massive adaptor. So Microsoft's top of the range controller is not as good as a basic Xbox One S type

If you want to use it for PC, then you're right, it's not better than the basic controller. But not everyone wants to use it for PC. I only have an xbox atm, and this controller is definitely worth this price. The trigger lock and the paddles give so much more flexibility.

Got mine from a friend for nearly 60 quid, only issue was the rubber side grip started coming off on the left side. But that was sorted out with a £3 silicone skin.
Yeah, for me, if you're gonna spend this much on the controller, you may as well stump up the extra for new. Wouldn't want to drop 80quid on a used controller

U insert batteries into your women. Is this to provide power to the air pump to blow them up?

Haha! 'Hefty' blow ups??? Sounds like a very niche website you use there.

Had mine for almost a year with no issues.

Think it has more to do with the way people treat their controllers personally.

Would definitely buy new though.
I am on my 15th of these controllers. Thankfully Argos have a no quibble returns policy if they break within 12 months
You'd have to be mad to buy a used one of these. Had mine 3 years - still going strong. Best controller I have ever had. Buy it new!

Depends on the issue. The grip peeling issue isn’t down to to misuse, it just poorly designed.

What’s your point? I’ve had mine longer than you. It isn’t mistreated. The grips are peeling.

It isn’t. I’ve tried.

My point is your point is your personal experience and not fact.

Most people dont have a problem with the grips.

A controller will only last so long anyway it wont last forever. Treat it well and your grips might last a bit longer.

No. It’s a fact that my controller isn’t mistreated and the grips have peeled. It’s also a fact that the grip problem is widespread. There’s a high failure rate.

I’m going to put this in bold letters, as one last attempt to see if you can understand simple sentences:

I haven’t mistreated the controller. The grips are peeling.

Read it a couple of times if you need to. Really take it in and have a think.

I'll take your word for it pal.

There isnt a high failure rate. Problems arise with all controllers. They need replaced after so long.

Get over it.

You’re wrong. There is. The grips peeled after 13 Months. That’s a short time for a £130 controller.

I’ve been over my controller for a while. I’m not over people giving out incorrect information. I don’t blame you. It’s probably not your fault. Your parents or environment or something. Some people can’t see outside their bubble 🏻

Everyone's wrong you're right... seen better insults from school kids.

Seen more people on this thread praising the controllers than crying about them.

Thats what you call a fact.

Do not buy these, it's a hell of a gamble.

I bought one that lasted three months before the rubber grips had peeled off completely through standard use. A few months after that the USB connection broke so it no longer charges.

My friend bought one where the stick domes sunk into the pad, and I've seen many such stories online including a common fault in the LB button becoming damaged through light use..

I mean, buy it if you like, but be warned. It's a lot of money to pay out for a pad with this kind of failure rate / design malfunctions.
Unreliable quality, and used? You're crazy if you buy this

£77 from Amazon …£77 from Amazon UKhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00ZV0NH40/ref=sr_1_1_olp?keywords=elite&m=A2OAJ7377F756P&qid=1555175844&s=warehouse-deals&sr=8-1&condition=used

Still may come from Germany, I bought the white one last Tuesday for £74 on Amazon UK ( but it's been dispatched from Germany) and it's still not here yet. But Amazon chat have refunded me £15 already as it's not turned up on time, this one was used as new (boxed damaged only) so only cost me £60 now
