CDKey promotions or other similar sites.

Unless you’re able to source credit elsewhere through a private seller

Yeah, me too. No clue where he’s getting that from. I keep coming back to this, I don’t need it but look at it! Nicest controller i’ve seen, is it the only model with the improved trigger grips? I’ve not seen that mentioned on any other controller description

Gamivo over the past two months have had discount codes that could be used on Xbox Credit.

It would be subject to people stacking up credit, apologies for any miscommunication.

Great deal for this controller. Been on the fence with it for a wee while but just ordered a Switch about two hours ago. If the boss wakes up tomorrow and I tell her I got a Switch and the controller, well I might aswell pack my bags.
For anyone wondering about the triggers, I have the PUBG controller and it's my go-to, subtle difference but a welcome addition.
Does it make you play better?
I really want that Kait skin that comes with it. Looked on eBay and someone has it listed for £50 lol. Not sure why anyone would do that when they could spend £5 and get a controller with it.
So... regular Xbox One controller with limited edition shell/buttons for £55 is considered hot? I think I miss something.

Yes, because it's not a "regular Xbox one controller". As you put it, it is a special edition which if you have looked at many other special edition controllers they retail higher. This one for example retails for £59.99-£64.99 and as others have said you can sell the dlc code for £20 back if you so wish. It's a saving, hence the heat.

They are normally selling between £20/30

I understand the Limited Edition hype, but you would really need to keep it sealed to increase its value over time. As a tool, I rather pay less for less fancy, same functional controller.

But I understand why it's a good deal now. There's nothing mention in OP about the DLC code, so if you can knock off another £15-20 off the price, that's certainly hot deal. Thanks for clarification

They announced another one with trigger grips at Gamescom this year. Search for the "Night Ops Camo edition"

Sell you mine if you like
Would never buy a limited edition controller due to the risk of stick drift, three of my four controllers I’ve had this gen have developed it.
Stick drift repair is a simple fix if you have the spare parts and some soldering experience. If one axis you can use second hand original parts. Dead cheap.
Even replace warranty sticker so no one the wiser

You're incredibly unlucky then. I have five Xbox One controllers - two of them limited edition (Gears 4) - and never had any issues with them.

They get plenty of use, and I'm not particularly aggressive with them, although I appreciate some people might be.

No I’m not aggressive with them. I just have had bad luck and they’re not particularly well-built. My Day One controller lasted the longest, nearly 4 years until the A button wore out. Last 3 controllers have all had stick drift after that.

I guess it's each to their own then. Mine feel solid, and have all lasted well. Can't say I agree they aren't well built, but I guess our mileage may vary.

I am tempted by this one though. Looks stunning.

It looks okay I guess

Its a regular xbox one controller, cant see what the fuss is about id presume people would be looking at the screen rather than the controller
If only the cog icon was the xbox button instead

Thing is they are not the same controllers 100%. I recently had a recon controller from 2017 with these grips the limited edtiion one above has. Unfortuantly it finally broke and like you I went for a regular controller + dongle for £40 off amazon. Let me tell you something the grips makes a difference (ofcourse depending on the game). You defiently notice it. I haven't tried out a controller with the triggers like this one has, but I am keen to for an okay price.
These controllers are so dear :/
Worth noting that the Red and Blue can still be had cheaper in store at sainsburys - got the red one friday for £39.99

Nice looking controller tho

I have a normal one and a halo one (use the halo one most) and have never had a problem at all and it gets the most use. The PS4 one and the switch one are much worse built. I think the xbox controllers are the best built tbh.
Received today. Thanks for the heads up. Stunning Controller.
