Decent price, or £39.99 new which is the cheapest around, I believe

Monster Hunter: World sees players gear up to venture on quests to battle against fearsome monsters, progressively improving their hunting abilities as they play. Loot collected from fallen foes can be used to create new equipment and armor upgrades as players seamlessly move across map areas that comprise the living ecosystems. The landscape and its diverse inhabitants play a critical role as players strategically use the surrounding environment to their advantage. Hunters must use their cunning and technique to survive the intense and evolving fights as they battle to become the ultimate hunter!

Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition is £9.99 (pre-owned) on Xbox One for anybody who wants / missed out recently.
I'm still unsure on this game, been playing about 15hrs, seems a bit grindy, the way people have been going on about it I was expecting a life changing experience

IL give it a bit more time
If you like a good old fashioned button basher, this is great. Plenty to collect and upgrade to keep you going back too. Story seems ok. The online co-op was a bit flaky to begin with but that seems to have been fixed now. Brilliant co-op masher!
My advice would be to learn the weapons. Hopelessly mashing buttons will just bring frustration. I am around 30 hours in and love it.

Have to agree, I've been on dual blades but thinking maybe switch to something a bit less mashy. It's a shame you can't have two weapons. Can you upgrade the slinger?

You think it's grindy after 15hrs? It is grindy but that's a given.. its not like destiny though as it's grindy in a positive way.. I've clocked 15hrs so far, currently taking a breather haha. Its am amazing game, extremely deep and a true AAA title.

You can have as many weapons as you want. Just change them at the camp... lol.
Although it's always best to have different builds for different monsters.

90 hours in and this is the best MH game to date for sure. Cannot wait for Capcom to start adding more monsters/weapons etc.

Also the people saying X1 is the best version... LOL. Get a grip.

Like most people say with monster hunter games, its a game that requires HOURS not minutes to get the best out of it compared to most games type...yes it is a proper grinder of a game and down to having you doing missions etc to get the best possible armour and weapons for them gorgeous maasive beasts sorry if i am rambling on
I am using the hard Bone Shotel I as am favouring the long sword. I am only level 8 as not rushing through it.

I thought the same about the Wii U game (which was hard to believe given the hype) ... held off on this until I see some more balanced reviews from real players
Over 40 hours in and loving it.

You just need to put in more hours into it and try try something different. I'm not a fan of grindy games but this one really feels like it does it perfect. It feels very rewarding when I get the armour or weapon I wanted. Wouldn't be very fun if I could get them after a one or two or three fights. So far I'm 121 hours into it, finished the story in high rank and saw the credits. And I'm still nowhere near done/bored with the game. It's only made me more hooked than ever. You don't need to focus on fighting the same monster over and over flat out. There's no big rush either. If you feel you are getting bored, change something up. Do some investigations, focus on the bounties or help another player with a random choice when they fire an SOS. Maybe go fishing or to the Gatheing Hub to armwrestle a friend. lol

I love that weapon! Didn't really like using it much in the lower rank but in the high rank it was amazing.
