Found 14th Mar 2015
Usually around £37 for the standard version and a bit more for the camo version (£44 on Amazon at the moment)

This was at Ada Duffryn in Newport, but it doesn't look like a local-only deal from the price sticker

edit - photo added, doesn't look like that worked on the app

INSTORE ONLY. Link for specs only

Heat added.

heat added for price, dunno what sound is like with it, I was stuck between this and the tritton kunai and ended up going for the tritton kunai which was delivered this morning and is pretty good. I can see myself using it for a while and upgrading to a set of astras or other good surround sets tho.

Reviews on the Microsoft stereo in the thread however are generaly pretty good and £27 is a great price.

They're meant to be ok for the money, considering the headset adapter alone goes for £15-£20

Can't find any within 50 miles of Wigan

Out of stock, or higher price?

No stock

Great spot, been after these for a while so I'm going to go to my local Asda and have a look....need some rum anyway, let's hope I get lucky as sub £30 is well worth it.

Sigh no luck in Crawley, will have to have a look in London next week when work sends me there.

I hope they have some left, I'll check out that store tomorrow, I'm in Newport.

Good luck. I didn't realise they were being discontinued, so I'm gonna get there early to pick up a pair for the wife for mothers day. She'll hate me for it, but its too good a deal to pass up.

No way buddy, great post! Some people get lucky and that's great, I appreciate the chase!

Get what you pay for with these, they're not great and pretty uncomfortable, no mic monitoring made me feel like I was under water.

good price for these, the adapter supplied allows you to use any 3.5mm jacked headphones even without mic. you can listen to Netflix, BBC iPlayer, YouTube and game audio with the TV turned down, saving others from being disturbed. The headphones are worth the price alone in my opinion, comfortable and decent sound. HEAT ADDED

I've got some and am surprised you think they're uncomfortable. I think they're very comfortable, the pads are so soft I find it hard to believe anyone could find them uncomfortable. As aside from the headband touching the top of your head which is unavoidable, I'm not sure where the discomfort comes from.

Aside from these headphones, I've got a decent selection of others, I'd happily recommend them. At £40 they're pretty great, IMO. If you think they're going to use them, at this price you'd be foolish to not grab a pair, IMO.

Get the (never in stock) tv tuner and you can watch anything on free view through the pad too.

Everyone is different I suppose, they're just too big and cumbersome for me. And the mic monitoring was a huge minus point.

Got some turtle beach x500 stealth, in a different league, as you'd expect with the price. But there ya go.

Out of stock in Newport Duffryn now.

I really really wanted these to work. I have trouble finding comfortable headsets, these were beyond comfortable (for me)! The only problem is the background static / white noise. No matter what, it was always there, and made quiet(er) scenes (game) or tv / movies unwatchable / unplayable. Tried 3 different headsets, 2 controllers, and xbox support gave up in the end. Using my other headsets with the same adapter had no background noise. such a shame

I have a pair and imo they are a good headset and for this price it makes them a bargain
