[Xbox One] Rare Replay (and more) - FREE - Microsoft

For those who don't live in LA, here are the times for blighty:

• Monday, June 12, from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. BST
• Tuesday, June 13, from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. BST
• Wednesday, June 14, from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. BST
• Thursday, June 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. BST

1. If you haven't already, go to mixer.com.
2. Create an account.
3. Link your Microsoft account to your Mixer account (it's all self explanatory on screen).
4. Go to the Mixer app on your Xbox & input your details.
5. Search for "Xbox" and press follow on the top left of your screen.
6. Turn your Xbox on tonight, go to your Mixer app and go to followed on the main screen.
7. Find "Xbox" and press enter.
8. Leave it on for a while while the stream is on. You don't have to physically watch it (unless you want to).
9. Within a week (though I received mine the next day), go to Install in My Games & Apps on your Xbox and you should see the games there waiting to be installed.
10. So far this week I've received the above games PLUS Forza Horizon 3 just for watching Mixer.

First off mate, I already owned a digital copy of Rare Replay, so that's a kick in the teeth.

I watched the presser live on Mixer last night. I've literally just turned my Xbox One on as I replied to this and all the freebies have popped up as installed.

Just get the Mixer app fired up on the Xbox One from 11pm tonight. Let the Xbox Daily stream do its magic and you should get all the listed freebies

Think I bought Rare Replay because of YOU! It's still unused and sealed. Good to get digital and then sell the physical to show the Mrs in actively reducing my collection as requested!!!! :P

Pre-baked app, it's already installed with the last xbox system update. Just got into my games and apps and select apps, it's in there.

Are you all watching the Larry Hyrb show or am I on the wrong channel?

10 mins into it and I already want to stick my head in boiling acid. Oh and mixer just crashed. Great.

Its this kind of thing that makes me stick with Nintendo, what a borefest of rambling about specs and how powerful things are graphically while they just show one dry FPS after another.

Sorry to hear some people are having issues. It's quite safe to say the intention here is for Microsoft to boost subscriber numbers on Mixer. Giving away Rare Replay and the others is that incentive.

Obviously I'd say to keep trying with the streams, but if that doesn't work, they did add this to their F.A.Q -

Watched the daily stream last night, from beginning to end.

About an hour ago I got a message saying thanks for watching here's Rare Replay. 20 minutes after that I get another message for the warthog in FH3.

Hopefully the rest will come in at some point.

The games appear in the Xbox One portion of the My Games page on account.xbox.com. You don't need an XBox One to 'bank' them. So this should be good for Xbox 360 owners or anyone who plans to buy an Xbox One (/S/X) and wants Rare Replay for free (just watch it when logged in to the mixer.com site or app).

I watched the beginning (1 hour) and then the end (the next evening). So maybe (not deliberately) I watched the whole of it.

Rare Replay and The Final Station are there, but No Time to Explain isn't there (yet). (edited)

Not paranoia, I am here mostly to update with exactly what I have done so that if and when I get mine we might be able to identify the best way for it to 'acknowledge' that you have watched it, if there even is a best way.

The issue you have failed to grasp is that for instance, people watching Tuesday who received theirs yesterday whereas some who watched Monday have not yet received theirs, it would be logical to assume that to roll out millions you would process the rewards in order of those who have completed the requirements, hence those who haven't got theirs from Monday are worried.

It was advertised all over social media, on Xbox.com, forums and on the Xbox Dashboard. Also, if you read the OP you'll see it's still available by watching one of the Xbox Daily programs via Mixer all this week.
