I didn't have an Xbox when it was on games with gold so heat from me.

It's a bit repetitive but worth a go at this price. The level in the coliseum is superb

Theres always one that says "games with gold". Heat from me, decent game.

People that say games like this and mafia are repetitive, what games do they play?

FPS? Surely really repetitive?
sports? Very repetitive
driving? Ditto

what do you want in a hack a slash Roman style game?

A fishing game? Straight road building side missions? Excute the messiah mini game??

For me, it's the banal button mashing that I found repetitive, no skill, just mash. Everyone is different I guess but even though I got it for free, I deleted it as it was tedious

All games are repetitive by their very nature. But some games take the piss with just how boringly, banal and truly repetitive they are by their shallowness... this is one of those games.

Not all games are for everyone.

i liked this game.

i am banal mind you

I was always intrigued by this game before the xboxone launched. I thought the kinect aspect would be the future. I was wrong and most people diss this game. Im sure it cant be that bad, people say Alan Wake was repetitive, or Shenmue 1 and 2 were repetitive, but they are some of the greatest digital works of art ever made, especially Shenmue.

Plus not many games have been set in Rome other than Total War and other strategy/ role playing/ empire building games.

I personally loved this game when it came out. The combat system is a bit repetitive but that shouldn't take away from the story/visuals that this game has to offer. Plus its £5 just have 1 pint less next time you're in the boozer. Heat from me.
