Getting close to a tempting price, after you sell all those games.

The Digital Console has no disc slot, that means limited access to reduced priced games.

Games in the Microsoft Store tend to remain at full price long after disk copies have been reduced in store and it also effectively means there is no way to play second hand games, so you will not be able to use stores like CEX/Game to buy or sell games after you are done with them. Some games can be found cheaper as digital codes (ie via CDKeys) but not all games.

A Digital Code for FIFA 19 today (as prices change all the time) is £59.99 in the MS Store, or £51 at CD Keys.. Compare that the price of a new physical copy at £40 in Game or £5 at Microsoft, or a used on at £20 at Game

Yes its cheaper to buy the Digital One as an upfront purchase, and if you are considering also getting a monthly Game-Pass subscription (£10 a month but there are often deals to be found) then it may work out cheaper for you, but just bear in mind the loss of the used game market.

Sea of Theives and Minecraft are on Game Pass, Forza 3 has been superseded by Forza 4 and F4 is in Game Pass so may not be easy to sell these codes on as the recent Microsoft offer to convert all your live months to Game Pass ultimate for £1 was hard to turn down so many user will now have access ot the games.

I'd guess you'll be looking about £30 - £40 back if your lucky and can sell them quickly, but more realistically probably £20 to £30.

Remember too Fifa 20 will be out sometime in September which will make FIFA19 drop rapidly in price too.

It's my belief that the console should sell for about £120-£130 (to make up for opting out of preowned games, cheaper games at release, UHD, Blu-Ray, DVD & CD) so your sums confirm my "close to" comment

FYI, FIFA 19 will be dropping into the EA Access vault in September too

Yes *if* you can sell the games.

Microsoft has in the past always kept the console price constant and added in extras as special editions, rather than charge more for a bundle offering as other retailer may do. I don't expect this to come down much more this side of Xmas.

,
Bought! And if anyone wants to buy my FIFA 19 Xbox code for cheap, since I already have the game, feel free to message me...
