Even if you're fully digital why would you deny yourself the opportunity to play disks when the cost is virtually identical, this whole console is mental to me lol
This bundle will be 149 at Microsoft for black Friday as they announced yesterday.

Even more so when you consider the huge library of 360 titles for disc-based backwards compatibility.

Strangely however they announced the BF discount at 149 USD which would equate to £115, which I just can’t see happening for some reason.

Most likely it will be £149.

Once you add VAT $149 = £149
Looks like ASDA are already doing the disc drive version for £150 which blows this away. ASDA one comes with 3 month XBL and 3 month GP which can be upgraded to 7 months GP Ultimate for £1.

where in ASDA? any link?
Lost count of how many second hand games i have bought over the years which have been damaged scratched
Fully take the point of limitation however you cant misplace or damage a download... Im happy with console it works for me 😁
With cheap games from foreign stores have been gradually getting rid of physical disc games to CEX when price is lower on digital than I'll get second hand.

Best thing done in a while from a clutter perspective.

Would never get round to selling the games before they became worthless anyway so having no resale value is absolutely fine and a perpetual license to use anywhere my Microsoft account is....well never thought I'd be pushing the digital but the pricing can be good enough to see the positives.

You missed the point entirely.

I guess so. Looks like I wasn't the only one either.
An emoji would have made your sarcasm easier to spot.

I wasn’t being sarcastic at any point.
Can someone help me please, I'm clueless about these consoles, my daughter has asked for one from Santa, is this a good deal?

I would avoid getting the all digital version. If you get one with a disk drive you can buy her second hand games and she can swap, lend and borrow with friends

Lol RE the 149 US price - US prices don't include sales tax; UK obviously has 20% sales tax; if 149 USD exchanges to 115 GBP, then 115 + 20% = £138. Then there are other factors including the UK's much better consumer protection, which usually means manufacturers increasing this price
