I would argue this is better value than the Argos deal at 169.99 that comes with a headset as the 3 month XBL is more useful than the crappy headset that comes with.

May as well buy the normal Xbox s with 4K blu Ray player disc drive, pre owned games are ALOT cheaper than Microsoft store, in the long run you will be paying a lot more than the initial £30 saving on the console.

Paying £50 for a 6 month old game digitally , compared to the disc version for £20..

microsoft have the monopoly on you and no backward compatibility if own any disc version, Microsoft tried killing the pre owned market before with the first Xbox one console “always on” this is there second attempt..

Open your eyes and check what you're buying before you buy it.

Or stop trolling just because you want a disc tray, there's other consoles for you.

I thought only the One X has a 4K Blu Ray player not the S? So what is the difference? I have an X as i was advised the S didn’t do 4K gaming!!

actually the s does have a 4k blu ray player it just can't play games in 4k
The misinformation is rife today lol.
Still too expensive for this product, when it's sold at £99 then I might think about it otherwise I suggest grab the disc version

I’m really considering getting this, but I’m super worried I’ll regret the lack of disc drive. I’m happy going all digital but how are the Xbox sales and general prices? I’ve never owned one before.

Game Pass is what you need to look at.

Yeah for sure, thanks for the reply. GamePass is 99% the reason I’m even considering buying an Xbox if I’m honest, the other 1% is concerning me though.

Every bit of money I can save is a bonus, I’m pretty much only buying one as a GamePass machine. I want two of the three games that comes with this so that adds extra value, although, they are on GamePass anyway.

Xbox One S doesn't do 4K gaming but it does have a 4K UHD Blu Ray player. Which is what makes the standard Xbox One S such a good deal, it's like PS2 and PS3 all over again.

If you are not intrested in discs then this will be fine, you can still stream films, use apps like Kodi ,play backward compatible games etc.

There is also strong Rumour that MS will make an announcement Tommorow night at the E3 show (Streamed Live 9pm) that the Xbox Ultimate Gamepass will also Include allowing you to also use all the Gamepass games on the PC .
Still a rumour but one by Brad Sam's who most of his early MS news is accurate

Seems like such a cop out that they're only providing FH3 with this when there's 4 available.
Wonder how many people realise that there's no disk drive with these models! I'd pay the extra for the disk drive model

Considering the controller and all 3 games combined would cost more that 100 quid, very unlikely!

A measly 1TB hard drive, so once it's full where do I download the other games

Oh wait I can spend more money and buy an external drive
I know right? Why didn’t Microsoft include one of those infinity-TB disk drives

actually the s does have a 4k blu ray player it just can't play games in 4k

The S plays 4k Blu-ray's (if you have a 4k TV) & it plays games upscaled to 4k (like the 360 generally upscaled to 1k from 720p) the upscaling is good & because it doesn't have the native 4k textures the game files are half the size. I chose this route because the file sizes of the native 4k versions were often 100gb in size & that quickly eats into how many games you can have on a drive

I've never heard of Xbox pre-installing anything. Pretty sure they come on cards in the box. If I'm wrong I'll buy a hat and eat it
