Ok, this is fiddly but probably the cheapest you can get the Xbox One S console today if all you care about is the console itself, not the games.

Currys have a TopCashback deal today only of 10% on all game console bundles.

So buy this console + game bundle for £180 via TC (gets you £18 cashback)

Then turn around and sell all the games to CEX:
Assassins Creed Origins £31
Forza Motorsport 7 £16
Doom £2
Fallout 4 £2
CEX TOTAL: £51

£18 cashback and £51 from CEX = £69.

Makes the console on its own effectively £111. Phew!

Isn't AC a download code so wouldn't be valid?

AC is code though so CEX won't buy it afaik

Still a reasonable deal either way

Is Assassins Creed a code or disc?

Ebay the games instead and you could make around £70

Yeah, but the Curry's deal doesn't seem to be available anywhere?

Buy a console and have nothing to play on it at least keep Fallout and Doom for £2.

By all means hang onto stuff if it looks interesting. I wasn't seriously suggesting dumping games for £2 unless you really didn't want them. But I wanted to illustrate what was possible by using CEX as just another source of a quick "discount". Incidentally, I think the bundle I picked is the most lucrative (base cost - resale value of games) of the various bundles at Currys.

In response to your last comment on that post -

Xbox One S console with Assassins Creed Origins & Forza Motorsport 7 Plus Either Doom, Dishonored 2 or Fallout 4 is only £169.85. Seems like a bit of hassle to get WWII for £20?

You can easily make at least £5 profit on WW2. I've seen people here go to greater lengths for less.

On my last post I suggested selling the 2nd copy of Forza as it will bring your cost down by £10/15. The rest is all optional, but COD WW2 is the only other game that is bellow re-sale value.
