Wish I had the money for this
Cheapest offer there has been?
If its an auto discount - can the extra fiver be used to get it down to £399.99?
hotukdeals.com/vou…050
^^ It doesnt.

PS Are you sure £15 comes off?

When I go through it states

"£15 Gift Coupon when you spend £100.00! You will receive your Gift Coupon by email when you order has been despatched."

So it sounds more like its £419.99 and ill get an eVoucher for £15 in my emails when the item arrives.

My checkout doesnt reduce - it stays at £419.99

Heat added. Love the Xbox, but playing it safe moment with ps4. Xbox in couple of years time I think.
when is payment taken?
@KL88

No I got the £400 offer from Dabs and it comes with the free FIFA 14 as it is Day One Edition
Spent almost £2500 in the last 2 Months building my gaming PC setup... I daren't buy an XBONE or PS4 in fear of preferring them to the PC, haha!

Voted hot as best price at the moment, even though I'd still choose the PS4 over this.

Cold - Not PS4....

I joke of course.
FYI £399.59 is cost price inc VAT from distribution so don't expect it to go any lower before launch.

Buyer beware. All console war allegiances aside rumor has it that the hardware has been rushed and struggles with 1080p in games. Rumor has it there might be a high failure rate like the 360 launch.

That's the reason the majority of the launch games were in 1080p but have been downgraded to 900p.

I would go for the PS4, Just for the fact that I have a Xbox360, But never ever really play it, It's under the telly, And that's it, Well the other day I thought I might give Netflix a try, My telly is a 6 year old plasma so it's not to smart, I know, I can play Netflix through the XBox, Not without a Gold membership you can't, A Gold membership just to use a free App, It even said I needed Gold just to watch Demand 5, What a joke.

Rumour has it the PS4 is really made of cheese and looks like Margaret Thatchers face, then again, it's just a rumour ey...

We’ve spoken with a representative from Microsoft, who provided the following statement: “Xbox One fully supports native 1080p output at 60 fps. It is up to individual developers to determine what resolution best fits their design goals. At launch, Xbox One will present all titles at 1080p—whether natively or upscaled.” It’s worth keeping in mind that just because a box can output at 1080p doesn’t mean it will. For instance, we already know that Ryse – a high-profile launch title — will be running at 900p.

Your statements are scaremongering and way over the top of what's already public knowledge, it's a shame it's come to this....

Preferences aside, it's cheaper than most places so therefore deserves some heat. A lot of people on here own both a 360 and a PS3 and I must admit I like the clarity of the voice chat (and party chat) of the 360.
Naturally (like most) I was drawn to the PS4 because of Microsoft's reversal on DRM amongst many U-Turns that they made. However I will have a good listen to the PS4's party chat before buying one, to make sure it's as clear as the Xbox 360's.
I know the Xbox One is getting a lot of grief, and rightly so after the stunts that Microsoft decided to pull on us at launch, but I think the 360 and PS3 have plenty of life in them yet, and won't be in a rush to buy either new console.
I wonder if the xbone would have the same failure rate as early units of 360, with over 50% failure within 12 months?? Lol xbone.

That's a serious waste of money! Even with a Titan I could build a TOP gaming pc for £500 cheaper..
going for ps4 over this
hedging my bets. ordered thanks jono49.

"When is my credit card charged? Once you place you order, we will ask your credit card company for an authorisation for the total amount of your order. Your credit card will actually be charged once your order has despatched."
Great price OP. This will surely help a lot of people. But I just can not get into the xbox exclusives. I had fun playing gears 1 and 2 and alan wake. But nothing else interested me. Hopefully it will be different with xbox one.
Imagine how much more affordable the XB1 would be without the extraneous Kinect *sigh*.
I have pre ordered the xbox one, my kids have both xbox 360 and the ps3 and they prefer the xbox all day long. mainly because of Minecraft.
it makes me laugh the xbox ps3 war very entertaining stuff lol. I was bought up on the PS back and I have converted I much prefer the xbox now over playstation but its all personal choice.

Absolutely. M$ get cash from you and NETFLIX, BBCiPlyer and demand5 etc get F-all. We've already paid for iPlayer, why the Fuc* should we have to pay again?

*facepalm*

Do you know his PC specs?

No

Did you take into account that he may have purchased a/multiple monitors to go with the PC plus a decent keyboard and mouse? What about SLI/Crossfire?

Of course not.

Please think before you post. Don't be so arrogant next time.
I am a neutral and own both Xbox 360 and ps3. Have to admit I prefer sony as I find them personally more reliable. Owned two ps3 to six Xbox 360 (red ring of death mostly). Seems a good deal for those who have missed the launch console with fifa.
I am a bit sad watch dogs is no longer a launch title.

Are you seriously telling me that the upcoming next generation consoles will still be stuck at running games at less than 1080p? Surely not? oO

The only Xbox One launch game i'm aware of in 1080p is Forza. Battlefield 4 is in native 720p on both Xbone and PS4.

Looking into it some more It really depends on the game. Killzone is in 1080p, Ghosts is 1080p on both, Ryse is 900p on 360, Killer Instinct will be 720p.

Bear in mind that the XBox1 will have better voice quality than the 360. (_;)

Thanks for that. I mainly pop on the 360 to chat with friends that have moved away from my local area over the years. Often I'll just chat and not even have a disc in the console.
Xbox 360 headsets (wireless) have always been the same quality, if not a little better than a mobile phone, whereas the PS3 sound has always been very crackly with too much background noise (regardless of the headset that you use).
As I'm far from a full time gamer, I'll keep both consoles going for another year and see how this all pans out.
I've got one on pre order, but I'm still undecided. Does anyone know if you can make a skype video call while actually playing an on-line title, or do you have to snap from one to the other? It may sound really sad, but one of the biggest incentives for me to get one is to see my friends expressions while in game

Not sure how good a deal this is, really, it's certainly not worth considering if you want FIFA or Forza because by the time you've bought the game you're waaaay over £429.
toythatkills

because by the time you've bought the game you're waaaay over £429.

and you can almost build a reasonably good gaming PC for that sort of money....

Great price and heat given, although I already have a Fifa bundle on the way in a few weeks, cant wait. Also looking forward to Titanfall and Project Spark!
