Oh man, seriously. I want to buy this but I really don't need to own Skyrim on yet another platform.

I bought it on launch and a few hours in realised I just wouldn't have the time to put in it again I own it on the Switch now which is nice just to pick up and play as and when. Which I suppose I could have done on the X1, but you know...

Yeah same thing really. You basically have to put your life on hold for a few months to play it properly.
One day I shall play Skyrim, got witcher 3 to finish first.
For many months I am unsure about picking up te X1X version or the Switch... I’ll have a look!

Does this include all dlc or is there a 'gold' or 'game of the year' edition for that?
You could probably rush through it in the free weekend, if you gave up sleeping and shut yourself in. Probably still miss out on a lot of it though!

Those two will be night and day apart. The main advantage of the Switch version though would be portability. It would look like a totally different game on X1X though and it's definitely cheaper.
I have been waiting for this to come down to under £15, i have it on the PC but it is simply eaiser and more comfortable to enjoy it on the XBX from the couch, so yeah i think i will grab this......again....for the 4th time, Xbxo 360, PS3, PC, PC VR on the Rift, and now XBX, hopefully i finish it on the X. lol

If you can play Skyrim VR as it is awesome. Best version available.
Skyrim on the Switch is eating away any free time I have. Portable gaming crack.
Glad I didn’t buy this in the spring sale! It was like £23 or something, then the sale ends and it’s down to £15? With sold though

It is ok, the controls are not my cup of tea though, very jangly and not very intuitive, put me off it completely, works great with a joypad but the motion controls are just horrble, you are basically fighting with them constantly, and the menus are just horrible, no sense of being in total control, hack and slash weapons are ok but try and use a bow and you do not feel you are in total control of where it is going, magic is a bit better due to the fact it does not need to be a precise as a bow, but game still needs need a lot of work and i personally have no desire to try and use mods to fix yet another Bethesda game. lol

Maybe try it in 6 months time and see if they have improved it, oh and i am using a 2 rift sensor setup, so i can't imgaine what the game will be like with just one sensor.

Oh wait - and Xbox One. Darn you, Bethesda! I would fight back, until I took an arrow to the knee oh well...
