Prepare for Titanfall ...

Crafted by one of the co-creators of Call of Duty and other key developers behind the Call of Duty franchise, Titanfall is an all-new universe juxtaposing small vs. giant, natural vs. industrial and man vs. machine. The visionaries at Respawn have drawn inspiration from their proven experiences in first-person action and with Titanfallare focused on bringing something exciting to the next generation of multiplayer gaming.

Titanfall Features

▪Fast-Paced Future Warfare – In Titanfall the advanced warfare of tomorrow gives you the freedom to fight your way as both elite assault Pilot and agile, heavily armored 24’ tall Titans. Titanfall rethinks fundamental combat and movement giving players the ability to change tactics on the fly, attacking or escaping depending on the situation.

▪The Future of Online Multiplayer Action – The game is entirely multiplayer, in a new experience that combines fast-paced online action with the heroic set piece moments traditionally found in campaign mode. The intersection of the two is a big part of what gives Titanfall its iconic identity.

▪The Visionaries that Defined Gaming for a Generation are back! — Founded in 2010, Respawn Entertainment was formed by Vince Zampella and Jason West, former co-founders of Infinity Ward and two of the co-creators of the multi-billion dollar franchise Call of Duty They are building on their pedigree and taking a new approach to game design and creating an all new universe with Titanfall

Such a underrated game
Parents Alert!!!! Stocking Filler for those kids who r getting an Xbone this xmas. 🎅
The first multiplayer shooter I enjoyed quality game
Great game. Not sure how active the userbase is these days. Might be better to pickup Titanfall 2, which is definitely still active (albeit required a few minutes waiting between games).
still loads playing online last time I went on a few weeks ago, excellent game
Titanfall is much better than Titanfall 2.

Everyone bangs on about how underrated and great 2 but the first one perfected online. Second one introduced new elements for the sake of it and ruined it.

Yup agree severs still full of titanfallers
Great price. Titanfall 2 for the single player. Titanfall 1 for the multiplater. Much better in my opinion.
Attrition is still busy however LTS is only really busy when the Americans are on after 8pm. That being said you still always get a game.

TF1 is so much better than TF2. Better in every aspect.
This is the only xbox game i still play. I got TF2 and never really got into it. Attrition is great- sometimes finding a game is a pain, but dont need to wait too long.

whats your gamertag?
TF1’s multi is way better than TF2. It’s like when they made Modern Warfare 2 and added too many extra bells and whistles, they did exactly this with TF2. TF1 was almost perfect as it was.

This game is the only reason why a bought an Xbox One instead of PS4 (at the time). Traded in my "fat" console for an X1S but kept the Titanfall sleeve... "Too Legit to Quit" is my most valuable achievement (0 Gamerscore) this entire generation (and I've finished Cuphead!). So many memories... HEAT!
I spent hundreds of hours playing this on Xbox 360 getting to gen 10, then did it all over again on Xbox one. The most effective weapons are the smart pistol and arc cannon for taking out players and groups of minions to reduce titan build and core time but you really have to master them. To win in attrition you should target groups of grunts to get into a titan as quickly as possible then again target grunts/robots to get a big minion score. Pilots will come to you :). My preferred loadout is below;

Radar - knowing where other pilots are is a major advantage. Trigger just before entering titan and when entering an area where enemy pilot fire registered on minimap.
101C carbine, extended mag (silencer reduces effectiveness of weapon), AOG - good balance of range and power, fire then keep moving or to ambush hunter pilots. Use AOG for medium/long distance accuracy.
Arc grenade - take out groups of grunts, take out pilots with two, hit titan shields or weakened titans.
Auto pistol - use to finish off an opponent in close quarters duel. When riding a titan use when primary weapon mag is empty.
Charge rifle - infinite range so effectively a sniper rifle for taking out pilots at distance. Keep pumping the charge to reduce charge time. Can be used to rodeo titans without needing to reload primary weapon.
Power cell - more frequent radar use.
Minion detector - hunt minions to reduce build time etc.
Melee - extremely effective, get in close and take them out. Use knife to cling to wall in a blind spot then drop and kill.

Atlas chassis - Best balance of movement and strength, damage core increases damage output.
Triple threat, increased capacity - Doesn't require line of sight so fire over buildings and through gaps to hit targets. Let other titans take damage whilst you fire over their heads to hit enemy titans. Pump into doorways/windows to hit pilots in cover. Rotate weapon axis to increase range, height and alter coverage. Fire to feet of incoming Titans but cannot be used in close quarters so use electric smoke to evade. Spammy but effective.
Electric smoke - Defends againist pilot rodeo. Use when engaging titans to obscure your position and stop them coming in close or move to flank whilst they fire into a cloud.
Dash quickcharger - Boosts movement to give advantage against other Atlas, flank enemies and pursue Stryder Titans.
Core accelerator - with Atlas Titan the damage output can be raised, target grunts to reduce core charge time.
Cluster missile - Effective against pilots and Titans. Combine with Electric smoke for maximum death cloud when enemy Titan comes in close.

Burn cards - Anything that gets you into a Titan quicker.

My favourite thing to do in Titanfall was punching another titan into the bottomless pit on the War games map, especially if they just called it in. Ah, good times.

It was very addictive so I had to stop. That and the fact that I was almost always the highest scoring player on the losing side because top players grouped together in a party whilst I was dragged down by some random newbies. Also, people bail when it looks like they will not be on the winning side which makes it even harder to win. The problem with joining the group of top players is that it could take ages to get a game and then it was too easy. It didn't seem to matter which server I joined, I always got matched against the same group of top players.
