A price drop is imminent but a slim won't be announced until at least E3.

Totally agree with you, the white model looks quality! Just waiting for a decent bundle on it.

Usually June, these deals haven't been an official price drop, just a winter sale and store trying to shift excess stock.
The xboxone isn't a flop but I don't think it's exactly shooting out of the stores, plus Microsoft are doing all they can to try and close the gap on Sony.

Its because of the way it was first marketed, no pre owned games and always online etc. That swayed me to opt for ps4 but soooooo glad i didnt and got the xbox one

It's EXTREMELY unlikely that there will be a slim XB1 within the next 2 years.

Quidco saves you another £18 on this deal

Pre-owned games were happening. They announced that, but unfortunately not enough people were listening - most were thinking up elaborate stories as to why the 'always online' thing was bad. Being able to transfer digital licenses is what made the 'Always Online' bit necessary. The system needed to make regular checks to ensure you still owned the games installed on your system.

I do think it was a little too early to go fully digital, but it's a real shame Microsoft aren't ploughing ahead with their original plan for digital games alongside disc-based games. For me, the only obstacle stopping me going digital is the inability to sell the games on. I'd quite happily tick some 'Always Online' box in the settings menu if it let me do that.

The whole ddos mess that happened at Christmas proved why is shouldn't be "always online".
