Banter. Useless to want to use the streaming service
Unfortunately Chrome didn't identify the language to translate this post. Could you help us?
Has crazy good range... Wont plug into steamlink but it works from bedroom to living room through 2 walls.
Want one of these, might get it today! Cheers OP.
Good devices, use them on my main pc and on my mini pc upstairs.

Also use it for streaming my xbox.

On a side note I only found out the other day you can usemyour xbox 360 pad when streaming your xbox to a windows 10 pc.
Got 2 of these myself, works great. Now Windows 7 and 8 are officially supported.
Would I be correct in saying I would need to resync the controller with the console after using with Windows? Was thinking of getting the £20 wired controller from Smyths... For this reason

Yeah you have to re-sync the controller each time you want to use it again on your xbox which is pain but I bought another controller so I can play the Lego games on the sofa with my girlfriend which works fantastically

Nope. I have mine paired up with my Windows 10 PC, and it still works directly from the Xbox One with no issues whatsoever. Great bit of kit and the streaming from my PC is perfect.

Are you using it for XBOX One streaming or PC gaming? If it's the former, you might be able to save your cash depending on how far away your PC and XBOX One are. Might help that I'm in a new build house and the walls are made of paper mache, but I can still use my spare XBOX One wireless pad synced to the console itself, while upstairs.

Alternatively, you can plug a wireless XB One controller into the PC via a standard micro usb cable, and it preserves the sync to the console (for PC or streaming use).

If you've got brick walls, leaving the pad synced to the XB One might not work but I'd suggest trying it first.
I guess you can't use this one with an Xbox 360 controller?
can this be used with any Xbox one controller, or do you have to have the PC specific version?

Thanks for the post!

I will mostly be using for streaming when the misses is hogging the tv! At the moment it's not too much of an issue, though I was thinking ahead for when we move and what options are available of using this upstairs reliably. Guess I'm best waiting for that moment...

The Xbox site (http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc) seems to suggest when plugging the controller into the PC it will need re-syncing afterwards, though I might just test this and see if that is the case!

Yeah you do need to resync, I use mine via usb and have to resync when i switch from pc use to console use.
Damn! Just bought this for £20 last week

I genuinely don't remember having to resync mine when I had a mate round for 2 player FIFA on the console itself. I'll have to double check, especially as the poster above says the same as the MS site, so I'd be inclined to think I'm wrong

Can you connect two controllers using only one adapter?
upto 8 controllers its awesome bought mine last week for £20 :-( although used it extensively on new years eve.

Yes. i believe it supports 8 controllers at once actually, or two with full audio/headset use.

Pretty impressive piece of kit and worth every penny at this price imo.

Any official wireless xbox one controller, yes. Will probably support any wireless third party ones also, but not going to promise that.
Does this work on ipad please

No Windows 7 and above devices.
Does the vibration function work yet with this wireless adaptor yet ?
I gave up on mine as you have to plug a cable into the controller once it has gone into sleep mode. defeats the whole point in having one imo unless someone knows another way round it?
Good price as they are normally £20.
Heat added and bought

Are you referring to when it 'goes flat and needs re-charging' ? Lol
I wonder if I buy one of these if I can stick it into my Xbox One so the controllers stop disconnecting...
Did Game honour the £14.99 pre-order they had for this? I changed my mind and cancelled it.
Been waiting for this to drop a bit! I've found micro USB cables are far too fragile for prolonged use in this way.
Still showing as available online...
Yep, just ordered. I'm in no hurry as I've got the 360 version, but it will be nice to be able to use the Xbox One controller, cheers OP.
Does this still only work on windows 10?

Yeah sorry i meant in the store. This company are such rip offs most of the time i really dislike shopping there, but was at lakeside so took a punt anyway. Ordered one on Amazon in the end. Added heat for the price.
Would one of these work with an android box

No. They cancelled my order.
venu44

er no. full batteries. it will not wake up unless it is plugged into USB and unplugged so it initiated sync.
Been hovering over the buy button on one of these from amazon for £20 (prime), but at this price you've pushed me over the edge and I've ordered one, I can wait a few days to save £4. Thanks, heat!

I believe it was only ever an online deal - the website mentions 20% discount on accessories online only.
