I normally don't comment on my own posts, but why cold? Is £39.99 not a decent price? Where is cheaper without having to buy a controller and game and then having to sell the game?
Not sure why this is cold. Its normally £49.99. Argos did do these for 34.99 a month or 2 ago tho

Cheers, that's what I thought, so just wondering why so cold, be nice if the cold voters could share a link to a better price from a UK seller, can but dream, the joys of hotukdeals

I think there have been some really good value bundles on this particular controller this year.

This maybe why it has gone cold.

Time machines and all that though!

This seems a good current price, heat from me. Although I bought this earlier this year and it's not in great shape already, these new Xbox controllers don't seem to be built that well. We do hammer them though in terms of usage.
This is a good deal folks.
Probably because Xbox controllers are overpriced rubbish! I'm on my 4th controller and play for only a few hours a week. Thumb sticks fail constantly and M$ warranties are a waste of time!!

Lol what the hell do you be doing with the controllers?!?!? I have 2 controllers, one white which came with my One S I bought 3 years ago! And it still works absolutely fine with nothing broken or faulty. I also have a black one which I bought from Argos as it was on offer and again works perfectly fine.

Could be because it's new and not refurbished (Lol)

The op was asking why it had gone cold I was simply pointing why it might have been going cold even though it was a good price.

I wasn’t knocking the deal I was simply stating there’s has been some cracking deals on these earlier this year. Some of the regular HUKD’s might already have them. I don’t generally even follow gaming deals and was aware of them.
Thanks for all the comments guys and gals, appreciated. I just wanted to check there currently wasn't a cheaper deal out there that didn't require buying from a dodgy seller or where I had to buy a bundle then go through the effort of having to sell a game only to see the market flooded by everyone else doing the same and the price of the game drops like a stone due to over supply on ebay etc as been caught out in the past that way

That's the annoying thing. I'm doing nothing strenuous or out of the ordinary I really look after my stuff and just play my console! M$ build is just absolutely rubbish from my experience. I commented before and all the sofa warriors jumped on my back over the elite controllers.. M$ use cheap components Inc 99p thumb sticks in all their controllers and there stuff just don't last! My mate works at a company called yourfix (electronics repair) and says they rarely get issues with the Sony stuff but have M$ Xboxs and accessories in all the time! Next gen I'm definitely moving to Sony! My Xbox one X failed just outside warranty too!

They either break from a small fall. Granted we have hard floors, but they’re only falling off a 30cm high sofa but that seems to damage them a lot. My blue one has a broken rumble motor so it rattles now.

My camo controller is less than a year old and it has left stick drift.

We have another 4 controllers which have all developed drift on the sticks which makes them unusable.

My light grey controller the headsetport won’t work.

Im going to dismantle them all and try and make a good controller from them!

Agreed.

My PS4 controllers are all still perfect with no faults after many years.

I’ve never had any issues with these Xbox controllers.

My lads was working fine after two years and I watched him launch it at his brothers head on more than one occasion. He traded it in eventually as he got this new Blue one for a change.

However the Nintendo switch controllers joycons have needed replacing in less than 12 months

In my opinion the online videos and other members experiences speak volumes all experiences will of course differ and so will opinions (I feel you have been lucky).. The ridiculously low cost of the replacement part (thumb sticks) and that's at the consumers end also show they use cheap poor quality parts.

Yeah maybe I’ve just have been lucky then.

It’s not something i’ve looked into as I’ve not had issues.

I was deeply disappointed with the switch joycons.

Did you actually buy one though? I ordered one these into store two weeks ago and got an email saying they were out of stock.

Yeah, I bought one in store, got 10% extra off due to family discount, so £36
