It's almost impossible to find a store with stock.
The official MS charge cable is only really useful when paired with the battery pack - as the cable has a charge indicator built in to it (Orange during charge, white when complete). It serves no purpose without the battery pack as it can't identify 3rd party packs. It is 1.7m long though...
There have been 3 generations of Xbox One controllers (ignoring the Elite versions). The original did not have a headphone socket, the V2 did and the V3 had bluetooth as well as a headphone socket.
The picture is for the V2, the description is for the V3. Why do the confusion? Has anyone made this purchase - is it a V2 or a V3?
The V1 is easy to identify with its lack of headphone socket, the V3 is different as the front plate is one piece of plastic (there is no extra piece surrounding the home button). Both the V1 & V2 have a noticable extra piece of plastic (usually glossy) surrounding the home button, it's more pronounced on the V1, the V2 blends in and V3 doesn't have a separate piece.
I hope that information helps, have some heat!

Can you use this with a pc?

Can you use this with a pc?

Yes, but you'll need to either plug it into the PC directly (with a micro-USB cable) or connect a dongle. If this is the controller with bluetooth then any bluetooth dongle will do, otherwise you'll need a dongle specifically for Xbox One controllers.
