Hi haven't listed anything for a while so please be gentle

I came across this deal for anyone who can't afford to pay upfront Shopto are offering a 0% finance of this bundle and is in stock. There is a small deposit which starts from £35. The payment options start from £26.23. You also have an option to pay to clear the balance early and also have the right to cancel the agreement after 14 days from the day you receive the agreement. I've gone for it and can't wait to receive mine. I'll let you make your own minds on this and if anyone has already posted this than please accept my apologies.

I am not opposed to 0% deals, but hotdeals is so you can expect this to go cold, also it is not the best deal available so technically you are paying more than you need to because you want it on finance, so no longer 0% if that makes sense

but if you can not afford it then a fair deal

though logically I presume they do a credit check? so you could of just got a 0% credit card if your credit is good

Guys it's 0% finance which means your only paying the 349.85 and not a penny more. Basically your giving yourself 12 mths to pay for something instead of all. The beauty is that you can pay it off early and no early repayment charges. I don't think you have to be genius to figure this out

His point is that this is around £25 more than currently available, and more expensive than has previously been seen as available, So if you take into account the +£25 you may as well tell your self that is the interest you are having to pay as opposed to buying it cash.

Simply Games - £325.94

I will point out that Quidco is 6% for this which would make it £328.86, Not sure if that is applicable with finance deals?

Edit: 6% Quidco is for Microsoft Store, No retailer in title so I assumed it was Microsoft

yeah you can get it cheaper elsewhere but thats not the point is it...fools

Well as it's 7% dearer than my example for Simply Games kinda takes away the interest free part doesn't it as it is 7% more expensive......fool.

I can't see quido for simplygames? says 2% then doesn't click through to the site

6% off £325.94 is not £328.86 is it?

The 6% was in reference to Microsoft.

You could also apply for an Argos card which gives 12 interst free as well

you say its 6% quidco off this which would seem to indicate you were talking about the OP. I didnt do the maths I looked at the quidco, I didn't mention any number apart from th quidco one.

That is a fair point

It would work out at £319.42 with Quidco at Simply Games

Not sure why it won't let you click through to the site, I just tried successfully mate.

Its a decent deal for anyone who hasn't got £300+ sitting around, (me).

The moral finance police may arrive on here to tell you if you haven't got the money, do without and how this country is in a state due to people debt.. blah, blah..

Its an option for those who want one. And the Quidco (not guaranteed) make this a pretty decent offer.

best way to buy sometimes and less hassle and deals are always good

A 0% on purchases credit card would surely be a better way to go? The you have the freedom of picking up a bundle that actually is a deal and still spread the payments, possibly over a longer term than 12 months.

It's all just come together, I have just realised this deal is from Shopto (which might have been easier to work out had it been in the title or had I read the OP ;))

Anyway, two references now to cheap Xbox One deals from Microsoft (6% Quidco) and Simply Games (2% Quidco)

Good offer

I would buy an xbox but don't like paying the £30 a year for live, tight I know, but its the main reason I choose PC gaming

This really should be considered less as a gaming deal and more of a finance deal, in the same vein as a car lease isn't the price of buying a car.

Saying it's cheaper at X & Y outright defeats the point of a finance deal as you wouldn't be looking to pay outright to begin with. Finance deals aren't there to offer the cheapest outright prices, they are there to give you a bit more financial freedom (at a small cost that it is slightly more expensive overall, although this works to RRP).

The only burn with this is if Microsoft announce an official price drop in the next 6 months. Then you'd be paying over the odds. As it is, it's a decent offer.

X box aka LOL BOX. Poor sales. Poor from release. Poor focusing on it as an entertainment system than a gaming system. I was all up for seeing what bill had to offer at the release conference big let down sales say it all.

Get some new statistics, since the dropping of Kinect the sale figures I have read are equal most of the time with Xbox out selling the PS4 in some cases.

The race between the two has barely started, to be honest I don't care which one sells more. I prefer the Xbox One, much better user interface and better addition to my living room media. Others will prefer the PS4 and that perfectly fine, I also like PC gaming

Yeah but that point is mute as you sell the other card on. I had a GTX770 sold it for £213 and put £87 to it to get the GTX970 id much rather shell out £87 (£43.50 per year) to upgrade to the next card and be able to play 2560x1440 at above 60fps than be a console peasant locked to 30fps and being charged £38 a year for xbox live lol.

I'm confused. Paying more, because you need to pay monthly (as your benefits don't stretch to paying cash up front) is a hot deal???

I only paid £304.99 for my XBox One with Kinect plus a game.
Edited by: "FleetFanatic" 19th Oct 2014

cold. you should not finance a games console. put it in a credit card and pay it when you get your statement. Or get a card with 0% interest in purchases for a period of time and got for it and then re-pay over the period of the interest free offer.

So someone doesn't have £305 lying around to spend on a games console, with nothing decent to play on it yet, means they're on benefits!! Pull your head out of your ****. £26 a month is easy to budget with, £300+ in one month could screw someone over for 3 or 4.

The rational way to gauge the cost of finance is to see the cheapest deal from an equivalent retailer and then see the premium of this deal at 0%.

To be fair, 0% deals are great for affordability (for some people, depending on circumstances) but cost more as are rrp rather than competitive.
Last Couple of times I bought at 0 was either cos it was direct from manufacturers or at 20% premium but from an authorised UK reseller rather than a grey import

Interest free credit card?

Cold from me.

I do know how much things cost, I prefer the term Geek and ok then if you shop around on cd key websites you can probably get it for around £25 but I work in a Music/Video department and that how much well sell a 12 month live subscription for.

He says the only reason he doesn't play Xbox is because of the cost of a (£23) annual subscription then calls console gamers peasants while stroking one off about frames per second. Smh. Good luck with life.

well going around calling people "peasants" and then making out that £38 is a lot of money.. just makes you look a bit silly

us real gamers have a gaming pc, one of each console and we don't go on about frames per second

a real gamer likes games, not just pc games/exclusive games..we like them all

Do you have a house?

what is it with this place, people judging. why even current

For the same price you can get this with fifa and cod from the same seller !!!
