Found 20th Nov
Ordered on 18 Nov 17, just received an email stating in transit with UPS.

Might help those trying to get the limited edition Scorpio rather than paying the few who wish to exploit others for profit.

Good deal, just feel sorry for everyone who may have wanted this at first but couldn't get one so went for the normal console, bad Microsoft!

Want one.... But unsure if to hold off for a few months. Like all brand new consoles, have been quite a few with problems. Heat for the post and could to advise people of this limited console.

These will be the ones left over from people making multiple orders to CYA...
Good spot.

Just checked ebay and these are selling for £640+!!!!
I do not understand why if you are that ‘desperate’ to get hold of a Scorpio edition you didn’t pre-order in the window or just buy the standard one at the retail price or cheaper.
The first wave of a console manufacturing run is inevitably going to get hardware failures so buying from somewhere that is reputable and offers guarantees is a must just in case you turn out to be the unlucky one so for me personally I wouldn’t buy from a greedy fleecing douchebag.
I pre-ordered my Scorpio edition the day the pre-orders opened and although a lovely looking console it most certainly isn’t worth a penny more than the standard edition

What's greedy about someone selling something at a profit ? do you think Microsoft sell their consoles to you at cost price ?

No they don't,but you are fine with a multi BILLION pound company making money but the average guy making a few £'s is greedy in your eyes.

Do you knock on people's front doors who have their house for sale at more than they paid for it a few years back and start kicking off with them as you believe it should sell for less than they paid for it.

I want ££ 's off, not a few words printed on the case identifying it as the oldest one.

The pattern is different on the console and supplied controller, oh and of course "Project Scorpio Edition"

Don't short change yourself, go for a standard one and a bundled game, the edition is nothing special well unless you want a vertical stand too......

This is a stock alert, not a deal (since it's RRP). Their comment is perfectly valid.

Strangely enough its been on Microsofts site for a while. I also cant understand why people are trying to sell it for more on eBay and gumtree. Unless its the serial numbers that are holding its value like money serial numbers.

Main reason to get these is for the stand! I had to buy one off eBay as they haven’t released them in uk yet!

Whats the difference between this one and the standard edition then

so judging by your response, we're all guessing you're probably just …so judging by your response, we're all guessing you're probably just another scalper then?

You judge incorrectly

I just don't understand why people think it's ok for companies to make massive profits but have an issue with individuals making a small amount.

Where is the sense in that ?

Actually Microsoft DO sell at cost and Sony at least initially sold PS4 at a loss, they make their money from taking a cut of games sales NOT from selling the hardware.

Oh so they are just scalpers when it comes to the games then.

And I don't think you will find that any shop that sells the consoles is doing it for FREE on the manufacturers behalf.

The 'companies' have created the product so they deserve the profit. Scalpers have contributed absolutely nothing so with any luck everyone will get them from the Microsoft Store when they are back in stock at list price and the scalpers will be left with a huge pile of unsold consoles. Everyone wins except them.

Don't think he's trolling,
I've seen a good few around of late,so not strictly 'limited' It's a marketing ploy. And,no,I am not trolling,I;m just telling it like it is.I am a fan of PS4 AND XBOX.

You could argue that they put the effort in to pre ordering one in time.People rocking up months later have not put that effort in.

It's like when the iPhones go on sale, everyone knows you have to be up early and keep doing the refresh thing, yet some people can't be bothered and would rather pay someone else a few £'s extra to save them the hassle.

I'd imagine that a lot of the scalpers have already won.

yes, you make a fair point, but as you mentioned, "when it comes to the …yes, you make a fair point, but as you mentioned, "when it comes to the average guy making a few £'s is greedy "if the 'average guy' you're referring to, buys out all the stock on a certain deal, just to sell on for a personal profit.... then yes, that is greedy!especially when it leaves the majority of others missing out, when they could have possibly only been able to afford one unit of what was on offer at the time.and their only option left is to buy at an unaffordable inflated price from one of these selfish idiots!

Everyone has just as much opportunity to buy one as anyone else, just some can't be bothered to put that effort in / you snooze, you lose.

Whenever there is a pre order for an item I want,I ALWAYS manage to get what I want, and that's because I sit around for hours button bashing until I get my order in.Other people don't do this and then moan that they didn't get one and are bitter about it.

lol all those people that bought one thinking they'd make hundreds extra off it lol,get it up ye's

boo_merang-109038523099936 m ago

I think Biggunspaulmight have had them all? have a look on Ebay

I'm shocked that anyone makes a profit on eBay with what eBay charge in fees lol

Was Supposed to be limited “sold out” everywhere.

Well these companies have R&D'd, manufactured and advertised these products for us consumers to have. They have put the work in.

The a-hole simply buying up the stock then jacking the price up...has not.

Big big difference imo.

And what about someone like Amazon, all they do is buy a product, put it up for sale on their website and then send it out to the buyer.A scalper will have to buy the product, advertise it and then send it out to someone, just like Amazon do.

A few years back I had a new iphone that I had used for a few days but then decided I wanted a larger storage capacity, instead of sending it back I put it up for sale at the price most others were advertising them for,and my god you'd think I was a mass murderer with the abuse I got from people on gumtree because I wouldn't sell it to them for LESS than I paid for it.I then discovered that CEX were paying £90 more than I paid,so I sold it to them, and a day later it was in their window for £200 more than I paid, yet funny enough I didn't see or hear anyone kicking off with them and calling the staff a holes for selling it for more than I paid, strange that again it's ok for a company to do the same as what I did but I'm classed as an a hole according to you and others, yet I'd say I'd be more of an fool to send it back to Apple and lose out on some free money that then helped fund the next phone with larger storage.

You are comparing a genuine resale scenario to mass scalping practices. Apples and Oranges.

These people purposely take up the stock that should be available to all genuine consumers and it is out of pure greed.

What right do they have to do it? We are talking hundreds in markup compared to retail.

The practice is disgusting, plain and simple.
