Voted hot, but a French Xbox...hmmmmm? Would be a tad concerned it might give up very early, especially if playing Battlefield V.

You can change the language via the menu bar.
what does "Small cosmetic defect on the top, front or sides of the article" mean exactly? slight damage to the xbox itself?

Doesn't sound like good condition to me, more like orc mischief.
Better of buying new (with damaged packaging) for a higher price IMHO.

Lazy alert - is there a list anywhere of fee free cards please?

I know my First Direct current account debit card charges a non-sterling fee

Try Starling, Monzo, N26 and Revolut - the latter of which will get you up and running with a virtual card to allow you to make purchases before physical card arrives. With Starling and N26 you do have to wait for the card to arrive.

Halifax Clarity credit card also
I can't get this to come up at £186, they also add delivery charge even though I have a prime account

They only have like new remaining which will work out around £192 for the console but shipping is going to be extra - UK prime benefits are not transferrable
