This is fiddly, but in theory gets you an Xbox One X console for £358 once all the dust settles.

Currys has TC of 10% on game console bundles today only.

So buy this £449.99 bundle via TC (netting £44.99 cashback)
currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Then sell the 2 games to CEX:
Assassins Creed Origins £31
Forza Motorsport 7 £16
TOTAL: £47 from CEX

When you add up the cashback and the money from CEX, that comes to £91.99, and effectively makes the Xbox One X console itself £358.

(If you prefer, you can also sell the games to gamexchange.co.uk/
Assassins Creed Origins £29
Forza Motorsport 7 £18
Total: £47)

Early adopters always get shafted its the way it has been and always shall be. This is the first time I have actually had the willpower to hold off. This time next year these will be 250.

How?

I sold my old storm grey Xbone S I got for quite literally pennies(if that) for 150 quid on ebay, around an apple or perhaps a pony fees n postage so 125 quid clear and the additional Scorpio I bought went for 485 quid minus about 35 quid fees and shipping.

I paid £790 for the two when I pre-ordered in August so I got my Scorpio for 200 quid give or take, bargain in anyone's book

CEX are thieves. Sell it directly to buyer

I bught this last night and my cashback only went through at about 3 quid.

Probably because you bought it last night. The Topcashback deal is today only.

Also get 7% discount if using Bupa for e-vouchers which effectively makes the bundle £418.50

presume cash back works still when paying with e-vouchers?

You might be able to get more that way (almost certainly can) but CEX is pretty easy. Whereas selling a couple of games individually to private buyers starts to look like hard work.

My TC says "Exclusive offer - ends today". Maybe because I'm a "Pro" member there?

Do you not see it here? I see it even when I'm not logged in...

See the line "All Gaming Consoles (Including Bundles)?

Are these games on physical discs or download codes?

can you combine this with barclays 10% cashback

can you combine this with barclays 10% cashback

I would guess that depends how Barclays works, do you click through from Barclays site? If so then definitely not as only one will be the referrer, either TCB or Barclays. If it works like the Halifax ones where you enable it and then pay with your debit/credit card as normal then potentially yes they would work together as you click through TCB then pay with Barclays card with the offer active. Not having Barclays myself I cannot confirm.

Cashback on this will likely come in at £37.50 rather than £45 as it’s paid on the price before VAT is applied. Currently tracking at 1% (at £3.75 as expected before being uplifted to 10% later)

Looks like you have to log in to use it, so no...
barclays.co.uk/cur…ck/

(but I don't have their card myself so maybe somebody who does can give a definitive answer)

I didnt buy at all hahaha

Sooooo tempted by this!!!
I checked Barclays and you click through on the rewards section through to currys site, so all looks good on that front. It's just £400 for a game console I'm trying to get my head around!?
I have that feeling I will buy it, then sell my old Xbox one, then Cyber Monday will be another offer or price drop lol..... or xmas/Jan sales will be even cheaper

What do do!?! Risk it and lose out, or take the plunge..... hmmmm

I think you'll find that the cashback is on the net of VAT cost and not the gross.......so it'll be £37.50.
If you have an old Currys giftcard lying about then you might be able to top it up via an employers scheme (Civil Service Sports Club give 10% cashback on top ups), then use the giftcard to buy it.

I'm pretty certain Barclays won't pay out is you're going through a cashback link.

No, you're right. Barclays you go through their link so can't mix with any other offer links. I tried that already....

But if you sell all the games what have you got? An expensive doorstop!

You have a cheap console you can buy the games you actually want for?

You may also have a collection of digital games for Xbox already. Argos have lots of decent Xbox games black Friday deals too.

Why expired.
